My name is Katie Cole, and I am the Founder/Head Planner at Palmetto River Planning. I have been planning weddings and events since 2021, and decided to establish my own company in Spring of 2024. I am trustworthy, honest, dedicated, and am known for paying close attention to detail. With a passion for this industry, it is my personal goal to make every couple a member of the Palmetto River family and ensure that all our couple's have a worry-free and magical day.

I am dedicated, trust-worthy, pay a great attention to detail, fun, and organized! I am big on great communication and love helping my clients. I truly take the time to get to know all my clients and become part of their family!

    Great coordinator

    Service was helpful before wedding for planning. Had a few phone calls before wedding to get everything squared away. Lots of changes happened day of wedding because of rain but palmetto planning was able to work around it and us still have a good day

    The absolute BEST wedding coordinator!!

    If I could give Katie and Palmetto River Planning more than 5 stars, I would. Katie was incredible from start to finish, organized, thoughtful, and truly a joy to work with in the months leading up, the rehearsal and the day of of our wedding. She brought our entire design vision to life with a setup that was even more beautiful than we imagined. When a surprise mini monsoon swept over Mt. Pleasant on our wedding day, she handled everything with total calm and professionalism, keeping us comfortable, our guests cared for, and our vendors coordinated without missing a beat. She worked tirelessly through every twist and made our day absolutely perfect. We can’t recommend Katie and her team enough!!

    Day of coordination

    Y’all I was BLOWN AWAY by Katie and her team. We connected immediately and her personality was so easy to get along with. She is exactly the person you need on a wedding day. Katie was my ROCK. She was thorough, direct, and executed our vision seamlessly. Because of Katie, I had no idea all afternoon that a giant storm was coming and was able to enjoy my getting ready with no stress. She brought my dream to life in the sideways rain and never once did I have a worry. Truly I cannot express how grateful I am for her time and work. I would choose her again and again.

    Best experience for the best day!

    PRP and Katie Cole absolutely knocked my wedding day out of the park. I hired them 9 months out from my wedding and from the get go Katie was communicative and flexible. She got onboarded with a brand new venue she'd never worked at before that made her jump through alot of hoops and she did it all with no complaints. The planning process was great and she was willing to offer plenty of services without being pushy and letting me choose what worked best with my needs and budget. The week of the wedding she was so reassuring and the day of the wedding she absolutely killed it. She was so on top of the venue, vendors, timeline, my family, and my guests I didn't have a worry in the world! I got to enjoy my wedding 100% to the fullest and it made the day even more special. Katie & her team made sure that not only were my husband & I taken care of every second, but they made sure to cater to my family and friends above and beyond. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

    BEST Money I Spent !!!

    Katie and her team made my daughter's wedding so spectacular! We could NOT have done it without them. They made the bride feel so special and cared for all day even while working tirelessly to help set up and keep everything running smoothly. They had great attention to detail and even stopped to help make sure sure I (mother of the bride) felt confident tying the cords for their handfasting ceremony. They did not leave until everything was torn down and cleaned. I had great vendors for her wedding, but THIS was the BEST money I spent, hands down. Would recommend 10/10!!!!!

Yes! Palmetto River Planning is a registered business in the State of Georgia and the State of South Carolina. Our planners are certified and we are insured.
We do not charge fees for gas or food within the states of Georgia or South Carolina. However, we will charge a base fee of $150.00 per night for a hotel stay for anything past an 1.5 from our home base.
Yes!! Palmetto River Planning can plan any event from bridal showers, bachelorette parties, engagement parties, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, baby showers and more.
Depending on the package, you can expect a minimum of 3 consultations. We offer unlimited communication from the time of booking and you are always welcome to reach out with any questions!
Yes, we can take up to 2 events a day depending on availability of our team. We are dedicated to each of our couples and do not wish to take away focus from them by over-booking.
We love a good deal! We are usually always running a sale, so all you need to do is inquire about possible sales. You can also find our promotions on any of our social media pages. We do offer a 5% off discount for military, first-responders, and certain medical professionals year around.

You can expect Palmetto River to be readily available for any questions you might have, and to be dedicated to making your special day as stress free and magical as possible.
