I am the owner/ lead artist of Glamour on the go, I have an amazing team of talented hair & makeup artists who help me glam small and large wedding parties, & we seriously love what we do. We do have a minimum of 5 hair and makeup in order to book, but inquire if you also need just makeup. I try to stay up to date with my brides, I'm super detail-oriented, a little bit picky, and have spent years in the beauty industry perfecting my craft. I do travel to hotels, venues, cabins, private homes, out of state, out of the country, we’ll be there with brushes in hand and good vibes.

What sets me apart as an artist is my eye for detail and artistic vision. I don’t just recreate trends — I take the time to truly understand your style, features, and personality, so I can design a look that feels uniquely you — even without a reference photo. I’m also a big believer that glam should feel fun, relaxed, and uplifting, not rushed or stressful. I’m known for being warm, personable, and easy to be around, which helps my clients feel comfortable, confident, and excited for their moment. With me, it’s more than makeup and hair — it’s an experience that celebrates who you are!

Warning!! NO SHOW my wedding
So I do feel bad writing this but I feel obligated to warn brides of my experience.. Please save yourself the stress!! The thing is she did NOT show up on my wedding day. My makeup trial I booked was nearly cancelled after I flew out to California for it bc one of the girls was sick apparently.. then the makeup trial itself was not great honestly. I left in tears because it made me notice wrinkles I didn’t even know I had. Extremely full glam & im used to a full face but this uhh different. Wasn’t very open to my suggestions for a more natural lash or dewier finish even when I told her I’m dry. Looked good in the pictures which is what you see online but nothing like the cakeyness in person which is what I care about. So then night before wedding rolls around & I’m enjoying rehearsal dinner when right before bed I see text from Jicel that she had a medical emergency & doesn’t know if she’ll be able to come.. mind you this is like 11 pm. I understand medical emergency is unexpected but I think it was incredibly unprofessional how she waited to text until that night.. not that morning or days before when she knew something was wrong. So at that point I was not comfortable with a random replacement she was going to send doing my makeup so ended up having to do it myself. Fine. Probably was a blessing in disguise & I was more comfortable that way. The two ladies that did show (hair) & the makeup replacement weren’t even on the same page as to what Jicel communicated they’d come for. The hair girl said she was told to just go for an hour whereas Jicel said she’d do all hair… turned that morning into a stressful confrontation between my bridesmaids & the girls. My hair turned out beautiful & I felt bad for the girl honestly being in the situation due to poor communication once again. But serious warning to all brides that of the two instances, she nearly backed out & then did back out plus unless you want it fullll glam probably not gunna be a good fit.

Lauren, While I respect your right to share your experience, I feel it is important to clarify several inaccuracies in your review. First, I sincerely regret being unable to personally attend your wedding. Unfortunately, I experienced a serious medical emergency involving kidney stones that resulted in hospitalization, excruciating pain, and heavy sedation. I was physically unable to walk, let alone perform services. This was completely unexpected and beyond my control. Contrary to your statement, I contacted you at 7:36 p.m., not 11 p.m., explaining that I was experiencing abdominal pain and would keep you updated. I have the messages documenting our communication. Regarding your bridal trial, I am especially disappointed by the suggestion that I dismissed your preferences. I specifically encouraged you to be honest about any adjustments you wanted and assured you we would recreate your look with those changes on your wedding day. You never expressed that you hated your makeup or were leaving in tears. You requested adjustments, which I absolutely welcomed. I would never disregard a bride’s wishes for her own wedding day. Additionally, your trial was never almost canceled. Your assigned hairstylist simply requested a possible time adjustment because her son had a fever. There was also a staffing plan in place. I had arranged two assistants, including your original hairstylist, who was assigned to you and your mother. An additional hairstylist was scheduled for the bridal party, and additional services were even requested that morning. Despite my medical emergency, professional artists were present, and I significantly discounted the services rendered in an effort to make things right. What is most disheartening is the implication that I knowingly neglected my responsibilities or intentionally disappointed you. I take tremendous pride in my work and the care I provide every bride. I wholeheartedly acknowledge the inconvenience my absence caused, but there is a difference between unprofessionalism and an unforeseen medical emergency. I am a professional, but I am also human. I would never intentionally compromise someone’s wedding day, and I truly wish you nothing but happiness in your marriage.

The Best Makeup Artist We’ve Ever Worked With!
If you’re looking for a makeup artist who is incredibly talented, professional, and truly cares about making you feel beautiful, look no further. From the very first consultation to the final touch-up, she made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. She took the time to understand exactly the look that was wanted and absolutely exceeded every expectation. The makeup looked flawless in person and photographed beautifully, lasting all day and night without needing constant touch-ups. What really sets her apart is her attention to detail, calm personality, and ability to make every client feel comfortable and confident. She doesn’t just apply makeup, she enhances your natural beauty while creating a look that perfectly fits your style and the occasion. Everyone at the event kept complimenting the makeup, and several people asked who did it. If you’re getting married, attending a special event, or simply want to look your absolute best, I can’t recommend her enough. She is truly one of the most talented makeup artists around, and I would book her again without hesitation. Five stars simply aren’t enough!

Working with Glamour on the Go was such a smooth experience from start to finish. They communicated with us through text, which made it easy to stay in touch, and they were always open to answering any questions we had. On our wedding day, they finished everything on time and actually exceeded what we expected. The work they did held up beautifully throughout the entire celebration and looked fresh the whole time. AMAZING!!
I had the most amazing experience working with this makeup artist for my wedding! From the very beginning, she truly listened to every detail of what I wanted for my bridal look. She has such an incredible eye for detail and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. My makeup turned out even better than I imagined and we didn't even have a trial. She did makeup for 9 people in my bridal party, and every single person loved their look. Everyone felt beautiful, confident, and camera-ready. One thing that really stood out to me was how professional and reliable she was, she answered all my texts, and questions so fast, and was always available to help. She even arrived early, which immediately put my mind at ease on such an important day. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she and her hairstylist were so much fun to have around. The whole morning felt like we were getting ready with friends rather than vendors. She even played music for us, and her playlist was a hit! The energy was light, fun, and stress-free, which made the entire experience even more special. It was everything I could have asked for and more. I’m so grateful I hired her and she will absolutely be my go-to makeup artist for every event moving forward. She’s not only amazing at what she does, she truly feels like a friend now. Best experience ever
I can’t say enough good things about Jicel! She is my go-to makeup artist for every occasion, and she never disappoints. Her talent speaks for itself she knows how to create the perfect look that compliments my features, matches the vibe of the event, and still makes me feel like myself, just more glamorous!
