I truly cannot recommend Johnna from Ivy Mae enough. From the very first conversation and trial appointment, she made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision. She took the time to really listen to what I envisioned, asked thoughtful questions, and offered professional insight that helped bring everything together in a way that felt so me. On the wedding day, she was calm, organized, and such a positive presence to have around. She created the most beautiful hairstyle that exceeded my expectations and photographed incredibly well. My hair stayed perfectly in place from the ceremony through hours of photos, dancing, and celebrating-no touch-ups needed. I received so many compliments throughout the day. She also did an amazing job with my bridal party, making everyone feel beautiful while keeping the morning relaxed and on schedule. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and talent truly set her apart. If you’re looking for a bridal hairstylist who is dependable, skilled, and genuinely cares about her clients, I would book her without hesitation. I’m so grateful she was part of my wedding day!!

Ivy Hair Studio was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day. From our initial consultation, their communication was clear, calm, and creative - they really listened to my vision and worked with me to bring it to life. The quality of their work was precise, unique, and incredibly comfortable. The hair chair felt like my own personal comfort zone as they expertly styled my look, which was the perfect complement to my dress and overall wedding day aesthetic. Johnna did my hair and all my girls’ hair for my wedding, and with a party of 10, she made every single one of us feel like an absolute dream. She’s incredibly talented, calming, and truly made our entire morning so special. I would choose her over and over again for my big day—highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Johnna for over five years now and have literally done it ALL with my hair!! We’ve gone from brown to blonde, blonde to platinum, extensions in, extensions out, and everything in between. She has always kept my hair looking amazing while still keeping it healthy, which is not easy considering how much I change my mind. I trust her completely with my hair! She’s so talented, knowledgeable, and truly the best at what she does. Five years later and I’m still just as obsessed every time I leave her chair:)

If i could leave a negative review I would they have to be deleting all the negative reviews. I honestly wish I could leave a better review, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I paid a significant amount of money for these extensions and expected professional quality and service. Within less than two days, the weft was already coming loose from the beads, the beads were visible, and the extensions did not hold a curl like I was told they would. I spent hours trying to style them and was left feeling completely upset with the result. What made the experience even worse was the communication afterward. Trying to get a response and resolve the issues was incredibly frustrating. The lack of communication and follow-through made me feel like my concerns were not being taken seriously. Joannah’s communication throughout this situation was extremely poor and, honestly, some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. For the amount of money spent, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, quality, and care. I would not recommend booking this service unless you are prepared for the possibility of dealing with the same issues.
