Sarah started an event/wedding planning business in 2024. Since then she has become a certified civil celebrant for the state of Virginia in 2025. Sarah made this decision because she wanted to be able to support couples in multiple ways during this process.

As your officiant, I bring warmth, compassion, and a genuine love for people into every ceremony. I take the time to truly get to know each couple—their story, their values, and what makes their love unique—so your ceremony feels personal, heartfelt, and authentic. I proudly officiate weddings for all couples, regardless of race, background, or sexual orientation. Love is love, and I am honored to celebrate it in all its beautiful forms—as long as it’s legal, I’m here to say “I do” right along with you.

Wonderful Officiant!
Sarah was absolutely wonderful! She was communicative throughout the entire planning process, and her words during ceremony were absolutely perfect. She took the time to learn us as a couple and wrote truly the most beautiful words for us.

Perfect!
Sarah was amazing! Not only was her ceremony speech beautiful, but she checked in on us multiple times prior to the wedding to see if she could do anything to help. 10/10 recommend

Sarah is amazing
From our first conversation, Sarah at I Got A Love Jones Events made us feel like our wedding was the most important day in the world. She was prompt in responding to every question and so considerate, making sure to weave our unique story throughout her speech in a way that felt genuine and personal. On the day of our wedding, Sarah's caring approach shone through in every detail—she had us feeling celebrated and truly seen. Her work went beyond what we expected and showed how much she genuinely cared about making our day special. AMAZING
We chose Sarah from I Got A Love Jones Events to officiate our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we first reached out, her communication was quick and easy to work with, which made the entire planning process stress-free. On our wedding day, Sarah felt like a close friend as she orchestrated our ceremony with such grace and care that our guests had no idea we had just met her that day. Sarah Made #GoingGreene Absolutely Perfect!
Where do I even begin with Sarah?! I truly cannot put into words how AMAZING she and her team were throughout this entire experience. From day one, Sarah was there for me. Throughout an entire year of wedding planning, she stayed in constant communication, answered every single question I had (and never once made me feel like any question was a dumb one), and handled everything with so much patience, poise, professionalism, and class. But wedding day?! Sarah was quite literally EVERYTHING for me. She made sure everything happened exactly when and how my husband and I wanted it to. Any surprise, hiccup, or last-minute change that came her way, she handled it so gracefully that half the time we didn’t even know there was an issue — and THAT is exactly what you want on your wedding day! Not only was she an incredible coordinator, but she officiated our ceremony beautifully as well. She truly wore every hat and made sure we could simply enjoy our day without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. Our wedding party, family, and guests are STILL talking about how amazing Sarah and her team were and how smoothly everything went. That alone speaks volumes. Sarah, THANK YOU will never feel like enough.
