My name is Erica Cooke and I'm your everyday neighbor and friend. I live in Grandville, MI with my husband, our 2 boys (ages 18 and 20) and our 17 chickens. I love to travel, enjoy the outdoors, get tattoos and garden. I love my family... Like LOVE my family. I'm often babysitting nieces or nephews and never miss an opportunity to hang out with my 4 younger siblings and their families. I'm pretty laid back and can adapt to most any situation. This helps me be the best version of myself for you. I love LOVE. I am very inclusive and affirming of all relationships. Thank you for considering me as part of your very special day!

Let's Get Married! packages

License Signing

Description

A quick, informal service that does not include a ceremony. The marriage license will be completed and submitted. This is the bare minimum necessary to be legally married. This service is limited to the couple and their 2 witnesses only.

Elopement

Description

Want more than a Courthouse wedding, but not really wanting a Micro-wedding, this service is for you. This service still provides a tiny ceremony with up to 10 guests in the location of your choosing. The marriage license will be completed and submitted.

Micro-Wedding

Description

With this service, you still get a full wedding, just in a smaller scale. This service is limited to the couple, their bridal party and up to 50 guests. The marriage license will be completed and submitted.

Wedding Ceremony

Description

Traditional or not, this is a typical wedding ceremony service. Unlimited guests. With open communication, we will create the perfect unique-to-you ceremony. The marriage license will be completed and submitted. **WEDDING CEREMONY WITHOUT A MARRIAGE LICENSE IS $250.

    We Could Not Have Asked for a Better Officiant!

    Erica was absolutely incredible from the very first time we spoke with her. From the beginning, she made us feel completely comfortable, welcomed, and supported. As an LGBTQ couple, it meant so much to us to have an officiant who was not only incredibly inclusive and affirming, but who genuinely cared about making our wedding day everything we wanted it to be. Erica went above and beyond to get to know us, not just as a couple, but as individuals. We had FaceTime calls where she took the time to learn more about us, our relationship, and what was important to us. She also had us complete a thoughtful questionnaire so she could really understand our story and use that information to curate a ceremony that felt uniquely ours. And she absolutely nailed it. Our ceremony was beautiful, personal, heartfelt, and so incredibly us. We cried, our guests cried, and it was one of the most meaningful parts of our entire wedding day. Erica did an amazing job making sure everything flowed smoothly, communicating announcements beforehand, and keeping everyone on track without ever making the ceremony feel overly formal or impersonal. She was also incredibly helpful throughout the entire marriage license process. She kept us informed about what we needed to do, helped make sure everything was properly signed, and even took care of sending the paperwork out so we can receive our official marriage certificate in the coming weeks. That level of follow-through and care meant so much to us. What I appreciated most about Erica was how open she was to what we wanted. She never tried to make our ceremony fit a predetermined mold. Instead, she listened, asked questions, and worked with us to create something that made our day feel special and authentic to our relationship. I truly could not have asked for a better person to marry us. Erica was professional, compassionate, incredibly thoughtful, organized, inclusive, and genuinely invested in our happiness. We are so grateful that she was part of such an important moment in our lives. If you are looking for an officiant who will actually take the time to know you, listen to you, support you, and create a ceremony that feels personal and meaningful, BOOK ERICA.     An amazing officiant!

    Erica Cooke was the perfect addition to our ceremony! She took the time to get to know us and our love story. She created the perfect script that felt personal and true to us. Her communication was great and showed up on time and even helped calm my nerves before the ceremony. She delivered the script beautifully and we cannot thank her enough!

    The BEST officiant!

Absolutely! Every ceremony will end up being custom and unique to each couple. With unlimited communication, we will work together to create the best ceremony possible!
I have been ordained since 2018, but have only recently started to offer my services to the public. On average, I do 60-80 services per year.
I no longer offer rehearsal attendance. I found that it was only being utilized 10% of the time and it's not necessary for me to provide the best service possible. We will go over all the fine details in length prior to the ceremony date.
Absolutely! Maybe you got married in Jamaica or eloped in Vegas but still want that big wedding for your family and friends. No worries! You will get the full wedding ceremony treatment regardless.
You betcha! My included travel range is 30 miles from my home address in 49418. I travel outside of that range quite often. If we're a good fit, and you want me for your ceremony, I'll drive there! (Just adds a little bit to the overall costs.)
