When you celebrate your wedding or special event at Bay Pointe, you and your guests will experience distinct personalized service centered around you and your dreams. Conveniently located between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo or Chicago and Detroit, Bay Pointe Inn overlooks the islands of Gun Lake and offers a variety of unique onsite event venues. The Lakefront Pavilion, BoatHouse Villa and the all new Bay Pointe Woods, are each exceptionally designed and comfortable event spaces. As a flexible all-season, venue, our events and banquet teams specialize in vibrant spring weddings, lavish summer ceremonies, twilight autumn weddings and indoor winter weddings where up to 300 guests are warmed by a floor to ceiling fireplace. Each of our unique venue spaces has been designed to ensure a successful event by enjoying a variety of event styles and effortless entertaining with family and friends.

The Bay Pointe wedding promise is to make your special day amazing from the time you, your wedding party and guests arrive.
A unique waterfront setting for your dream wedding located on the water with seating up to 200 guests with over 3,000 square feet of adjacent lawn space. The space is surrounded by lush landscaping, a variety of perennials and seasonal flowers and features an outdoor gas fireplace, patio, gas torches, granite bar, ceiling mounted gas heaters, and clear sides we lower in the event of inclement weather to ensure total guest comfort.

Steeped in history and lavished with innovative updates, this exquisite Gun Lake Estate boasts 125’ of all-sport lake frontage. Built in 1886 this 5,000 sq. ft. ageless-beauty is comfortably elegant, magnificently custom, and totally endearing. When hosting an event at the BoatHouse Villa, the ceremony, patio and courtyard setup for the day of your wedding is included in the rental fee.

The Villa sleeps 15 with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths a loft and gourmet kitchen. The spacious furnished balcony offers sunrise and sunset views. The covered lakefront veranda offers a firewall and private dock. Game room has a pool table, shuffleboard table and bar, a second outdoor cabana bar is in the fountain courtyard. The grounds feature beautiful flower gardens and guests have access to all Bay Pointe Inn resort amenities.
Fireside Banquet Room
A flexible all-season venue
The Fireside Banquet Room is a perfect indoor space for intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, and a variety of social functions, seating capacity is up to 60 guests and features a grand 12’ fireplace and adjacent lakefront patio. An iPod docking station, portable bar, kitchenette, hand-held microphones, surround sound, a 144” drop down screen, ceiling mounted LCD-HD Projector, and free Wi-Fi is available.

Dream Venue!!!
We had the most amazing experience at Bay Pointe Woods for our wedding! From start to finish, the entire day was absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate with. The space itself is stunning and was the perfect setting for our wedding. The staff was incredible throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding day. Gabe was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Alex was also wonderful day-of and was so kind, helpful, and attentive. Both of them made us feel so taken care of, and their kindness truly meant so much to us. Our guests could not stop complimenting the venue, the staff, the food, and the drinks! We received so many compliments throughout the night and even after the wedding about how beautiful everything was and how great the food and bar were. We are so grateful we chose Bay Pointe Woods for our wedding. It was truly the perfect place for such a special day, and the entire team helped make it everything we dreamed of. We would highly recommend Bay Pointe Woods to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing staff!

Absolutely Gorgeous
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue for our wedding! Everything was absolutely perfect, and the setting made our day even more special. A huge thank you to our event coordinator, Corinne. She was truly amazing from start to finish on our wedding day! She was so helpful, organized, attentive, and made sure everything came together perfectly. Having her there allowed us to relax, enjoy our day, and not worry about all the little details. Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be, and we’re so grateful to Corinne and everyone at the venue for helping make it such a beautiful and unforgettable day. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect place to celebrate their special day!

From our first conversation with Bay Pointe, we knew we had found the right venue. Their team responded to every question quickly and thoughtfully, and they didn't just answer what we asked—they anticipated what we'd need and offered ideas we hadn't even considered. On our wedding day, the staff was attentive to us and our guests throughout, constantly checking in to make sure everything was running smoothly. What really set them apart was how they went above and beyond at every turn, thinking through details we would have missed and suggesting solutions that made our day flow perfectly. The space itself is stunning and elegant, with an atmosphere that made our guests feel so welcomed. We honestly can't recommend Bay Pointe enough.

Best Day Ever!
We had the BEST time at Bay Pointe Woods! The staff was wonderful to work with and helped us plan the entire year before. The day of they set everything up and the event ran so smoothly. Our day of Supervisor provided by Bay Pointe did so much for us and kept us on track all day! The Venue is beautiful and it is so fun to get ready in the cottages with your friends in the morning! The food and drinks are also delicious! I would recommend this venue to everyone, all of our guests had a great time and we are so thrilled with how our day went!

It was perfect!
We had our ceremony and reception at Bay Pointe Woods and couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue! The location and atmosphere were absolutely beautiful, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Planning from out of state was a breeze. We even held our rehearsal dinner at their Bar and Grille, so we didn't have to leave the property. We couldn't make it to any of the food tastings, but every single dish ended up being delicious. The team made sure we needed for nothing all weekend!
