    Best Officiant!!

We had such a wonderful experience with David as our wedding officiant and are so happy we chose him to be part of our day! From the very beginning, he was incredibly kind, easygoing, and so easy to work with. He made the process of creating our ceremony script feel completely effortless. He guided us through everything, listened to what we wanted, and helped us put together a ceremony that felt personal and true to us without the process ever feeling overwhelming. On our wedding day, David had such a warm and natural presence. He made us feel completely comfortable standing up there, and he delivered our ceremony beautifully. It felt heartfelt and meaningful while still feeling relaxed and very “us,” which was exactly what we wanted. Beyond being a wonderful officiant, David is simply a genuinely kind and enjoyable person to be around. We would absolutely recommend him to any couple looking for an officiant who is warm, professional, personable, and makes the entire process easy from beginning to end. Thank you, David, for being such a special part of our wedding day!

Working with Love, Honor, and Cherish Weddings was such a smooth experience from start to finish. He was responsive to our questions, walked us through each step, and made us feel heard throughout. He had a genuine sense of humor that put us at ease, and his kindness made the process feel less stressful. On our wedding day, he delivered exactly what he promised and handled everything with real professionalism. We appreciated how flexible he was when we needed to make adjustments, and that he ensured our ceremony was everything we wanted. If you're looking for officiants who are both fun and reliable, we highly recommend Love, Honor, and Cherish Weddings! Thank you, Dave!

    Best Officiant

Dave was an excellent officiant and the best we could have asked for. He was friendly, personable and easy to work with. He made the process super simple but easy to customize to our exact wants. We appreciated him making this part of wedding planning fun and carefree. The ceremony turned out beautiful and we are so grateful!

    Great Officiant!

David was such a pleasure to work with! Throughout the whole process he was easy to communicate with, and made sure to go over every part of the ceremony with us. He was also able to help answer some questions we had about the marriage license, and overall ensured that the entire process was easy. We received multiple drafts of the ceremony before our big day, and everything went so smoothly on the day of! David was very kind, personable, and delivered a beautiful ceremony. We loved getting to work with him, and having his great energy be part of our ceremony (it really helped calm our nerves!).

    BEST DAY EVER!!! 06.06.2026

From our first conversation with Dave we knew we had found our officiant. His communication was straightforward and quick, always getting back to us right away and made the planning process feel effortless. Dave guided us through building our ceremony from start to finish, and when we decided to make last-minute changes to our script, he handled it without any stress or pushback. On our wedding day, his professionalism and warmth made everyone feel comfortable, and his charisma really brought our ceremony to life. We would absolutely recommend Love, Honor, and Cherish Weddings to any couple looking for an officiant who actually cares about making your day special.

I started officiating weddings in the summer of 2017. I am an English teacher, and one of my first students from way back in 2004 contacted me and asked me to officiate for him and his bride, so I jumped at the chance to make that happen.
At the time of writing (April of 2025), I've performed just over 600 weddings. I'm having a blast, and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon.
Absolutely! After we meet to discuss your plans, I'll send you a draft of a ceremony on a Google Doc. Once you have that, then you can go into the document and make whatever changes/edits/revisions you want until it's exactly what you want it to be. I also work with couples to design unique side ceremonies that are special for them or tied to their heritage. From handfastings to beer blending ceremonies to a Viking Sword Exchange...there's something out there for everyone!
I do rehearals, but pretty rarely. In my experience, if you're doing your rehearsal at a venue then there's a coordinator on site who takes you through who is walking with whom and how quickly. Because we work together in advance to prepare your ceremony, there aren't many surprises coming your way as far as I am concerned, so more often than not I don't have much to do at a rehearsal. Having said that though, if you want me to be there when you walk through things so you feel more prepared, then we'll absolutely make it happen.
Of course! Plenty of couples will take care of the legal end of things beforehand for any number of reasons. Even if you're already legally married, I can still work with you to create a ceremony for your big day with family and friends.
I feel like that's way beyond my scope, folks. I don't have the training that would make me feel comfortable providing any sort of premarital counseling before your wedding.
Sure am! Since June of 2008, with a tremendous wife and partner and two kids around whom my world revolves. Life is pretty sweet.
