Your wedding ceremony is all about you. If you would like to include special rituals, your love story or have a playful ceremony, we can work together to make it happen. If you want a simple yet meaningful ceremony, we can do that too. If you would fully customize your ceremony you have the option of selecting each and every element of your celebration of love. Getting it right for you; that's what it's all about.

I bring to your ceremony decades of Officiating experience along with more years than I like to remember of being in front of audiences. What this means to you is that no matter what happens, you can count on me to be looking out for your vision of your ceremony. I insure you are seen in the best possible light. This requires experience. Are you too nervous to confidently celebrate your love? We will take the time to insure you are grounded. Your celebration of love should always depict you in the best light. We are a team and I'm there for you all along the way.

    Working with Love Is Weddings was an awesome experience from start to finish.     Officiant for our wedding

    From our first conversation with Love Is Weddings, we knew we had found the right officiant for our ceremony. He was so easy to talk to and had this wonderful sense of humor that put us at ease right away. During the planning process, he really took the time to get to know us and make the ceremony feel personal and meaningful. On our wedding day, he was kind and light hearted, and honestly, it felt like my own grandfather was officiating our ceremony. My first wedding was in June 2011. Since that time it has been my honor to conduct over 1200 Celebrations of Love for couples from around the globe.
Yes, yes and yes! Although I do offer pre-written elopement style ceremonies as well, most of my couples elect to add their personal touches to their celebrations. This might be personal vows, including their Love Story, special recognitions and guest involvement. This is your wedding, let’s make sure it represents who you are as a couple.
On rare occasions a rehearsal for an Officiant is beneficial. If we are including a complicated ritual in your celebration my participation in the rehearsal can be helpful. Most commonly, however, my role as Officiant is very specific and well defined. Typically I will arrive at your venue an hour prior to your ceremony to confer with the DJ, Wedding Coordinator, Musicians and of course, with you.
Over the years perhaps 30-49 percent of my couples have already been legally married prior to their Celebration of Love. A large number of these couples haven’t “gone public” with their marriages so we do the entire celebration as if they were not already married including a ring exchange. I also offer ceremonies which confirm a couple’s love and include elements to highlight that this is a reaffirmation of their commitment to each other. This is your wedding so we will create a ceremony that fulfills your desires.
I do not require premarital counseling to perform your ceremony. If you wish to do counseling, as an Ordained Minister we can spend some time discussing common marital issues or I can refer you to a cloud-based program which will help you avoid common issues.
It is lovely to be invited to your celebration feasts. That being said, it seems to me that nothing makes guests more self-conscious than the Minister sitting down at their table. Although I do appreciate the offer it is my policy to let you celebrate with your friends.
