I'm Rev. Dr. Jeff Saville, (call me Jeff) a retired Navy chaplain with 26 yrs military service and real church pastor (not just ordained online). I can lead a highly customized & personalized wedding ceremony at a winery, golf club, beach, on a military base or in a hot air balloon! Or if you just need to be quickly/legally married very inexpensively, I do that too! When you contact me you will quickly receive detailed info, a sample but customizable ceremony, and offer times for a free consultation by videocall to answer questions about levels of service (Gold/Silver/Bronze), the fees, OPTIONAL Premarital Counseling and more!

My military chaplain background enables me to lead large groups of people with confidence and I know how to serve couples from many different Christian faith backgrounds (Roman Catholic, Protestants of all types). Every ceremony has faith-based elements, but we can dial that up or down, you can write your own vows, have a sand or wine-blending ceremony, and many more choices. I can lead parts of the ceremony in Spanish or German! For full-scale weddings (Gold/Silver level), I invite couples to my home in Temecula to meet in person and have a mini-rehearsal, just the 3 of us.

    A Dream Come True The Perfect Wedding Officiant!

    Jeff was absolutely incredible as our wedding officiant! From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and truly took the time to get to know us. He created such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony that reflected who we are as a couple. He had the perfect balance of heartfelt moments, Scripture, humor, and personal stories. He kept everyone engaged from start to finish, and you could tell how much thought and care he put into every word. His jokes were perfectly timed, his message was inspiring, and he brought such a warm, welcoming energy that made everyone feel included. We received so many compliments from our family and friends after the ceremony. Everyone kept telling us how much they loved Jeff, how engaging he was, and how it felt like he truly united everyone in the room. He made the ceremony memorable not only for us, but for every guest who was there. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better officiant.     Best officiant

    Jeff was the best officiant we could ask for. He is very informative and helped us with out wedding planning journey. He took time to get to know us and so that our ceremony reflected us as individuals and as a couple. Very blessed he was able to officiate our wedding!

    Professional and Intentional!!

    Jeff went absolutely above & beyond as our wedding officiant! From the very first email to follow-up after the wedding, he was professional, kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time to get to know us through multiple virtual meetings and even an in person meeting in his home! He had us practice the physical movements and say all the words we were to say the day of which allowed us to be prepared and calm when the real moment came. He got to our wedding early to coach the wedding party just before the ceremony so they would know what to do. Our family and friends went on and on about how beautiful the ceremony was!! Overall 10/10 experience!

    Best Officiant!

    From our very first interactions via email and virtually we knew we were in great hands. The planning process was incredibly smooth, and the mini-rehearsal over video call was an absolute game-changer! It left us feeling completely confident and knowing exactly what to expect. On the big day, Pastor Jeff was the definition of professionalism. He arrived dressed perfectly in the outfit of our choice and immediately went to work coaching up our parents, Best Man, and Maid of Honor just before the ceremony, so everyone knew their exact cues. The ceremony itself was led beautifully, with a perfect balance of warmth and commanding presence. He went above and beyond in so many ways. We had a day-of coordinator, but the day would not have gone as smooth if we didn’t have Pastor Jeff. If you want a stress-free, professional, and genuinely caring officiant, look no further. Highly recommend!

    Best officiant money can buy

    Jeff can be described in one word. Outstanding! We originally went with Jeff since he is a retired Navy Chaplain, as a Marine that was an instant pro fro me but he also; helped and made the process of planning the wedding from the opposite of the country easy with video calls, while still making time to meet us prior to the wedding to get face to face time as well as run a walk through of our wedding day. He was also able to do a good portion of the ceremony in Spanish to help my in-laws understand what was happening and make them included in the ceremony. He helped us plan out for amazing pictures of the ceremony down to what he would wear. He coached up the bridal party on their roll in the ceremony so everything went smooth. The only negative thing I can say about Jeff is; well I didn't get to spend more time with him! He is amazing and funny and I genuinely cannot recommend him enough. If you're looking to add the perfect Pastor/Officiant for your perfect day Jeff is an easy inclusion.

I created SoCal Christian Weddings in 2014, although I have been a legit Christian pastor doing weddings for many years before that.
I have led well over 700 weddings, from just the couple and me to 250+ guests. I average about 70 weddings per year all over Southern California. I have tons of experience at every type of setting you can imagine: wineries, golf courses, living rooms, backyards, the beach, the mountains, indoors in churches/chapels/hotels, a hospital room and even a hot air balloon!
YES! In my Gold and Silver ceremonies, you can select from 38 different ways to say your vows, 42 different ways to say the Ring Exchange words, which scriptures (if any) are read, how you're introduced at the end, and if you want to write your own vows which I call Personalized Promises....and that's only the beginning of how we customize your ceremony! My Bronze level is a "mostly" standard ceremony but it's also more affordable if you want a ceremony that is simpler and shorter.
Usually your venue coordinator will conduct the formal rehearsal. I do something BETTER for you! With my Gold/Silver levels of service, I invite just the two of you to my home and we have a super-detailed "mini-rehearsal" so you can learn all the physical movements, practice saying the words...EVERYTHING! Couples LOVE it! If you absolutely can't visit my Temecula home due to distance and travel dates, or if you select my Bronze service, we can do the mini-rehearsal by video call which I have done many times and it works very well also. For a few very complex ceremonies, it is best for me to be at a formal rehearsal, the fee is $200.00 extra.
Absolutely! I will conduct the ceremony in an identical way "as if" it were the legal event, and I never reveal to ANYONE if you're already legally married--that is strictly between you and me. However, for legal reasons, I DO need to actually see a copy of your valied marriage certificate--just send me a photo and it's all good.
I OFFER premarital counseling and highly recommend it, but I don't require it. You take 3 assessments (very detailed), and we go over the results in 3 sessions (in person or by video call or a hybrid) of 2 hrs each, just the 3 of us---you're not in a class with others, so it is 100% confidential and super-personalized to YOU. On request, I can email very detailed information about the process. If you have me do both your counseling AND your wedding ceremony, I'll give you a package deal with so the cost is $495.00.
