Hi, I’m Kim, the photographer behind Aihara Visuals Photography. I’ve been photographing weddings and couples in Hawaiʻi since 2006, and I feel incredibly lucky to call Maui home. I believe the best photographs happen when you’re comfortable, having fun, and simply enjoying the people you love. My approach is relaxed and natural, with just enough direction to create beautiful, flattering images without making your wedding day feel like one long photo session. After photographing weddings on Maui for nearly two decades, I’ve learned that every couple and every celebration is different. My goal is to create images that feel like **you**—romantic, genuine, timeless, and filled with the feeling of being here in Hawaiʻi.

Yes! If you do not see a wedding collection listed on our pricing page that will work for your event or budget, please send us an email with your needs and we will be happy to work with you.
Yes! We carry liability insurance and have our film permit required by the State of Hawaii to photograph on the beaches in Hawaii.
Yes, Weddings on the beach do require a permit. Usually your coordinator or officiant can obtain this for you. In the event that they can not, we are happy to provide the permit for your wedding day.
Flexible dates are great, especially for beach weddings. We can help you choose a date in the date range you are thinking depending on our availability, busiest times and locations.
