We are a boutique wedding planning & entertainment company with over 15 years experience in the Hawai'i & destination wedding industry. Our focus is providing comprehensive wedding planning experiences for busy couples that are culturally inspired, wonderfully personalized, luxurious, and reflect each couple's unique personality. Our mission -- to give couples back the freedom to enjoy all the fun aspects of their wedding journey while we manage every part of your wedding day down to the finest detail.
Our superpower as planners -- at our core, we're a husband & wife team with backgrounds in professional theater, music, entrepreneurship & social work. We bring a very unique, innovative and bold perspective to planning and design, as well as an empathetic lens to your wedding journey. As current professional wedding entertainers as well, we uniquely understand how to collaborate and work with vendors to secure the perfect team to create your vision.

Annie is the best!
From our first meeting, we knew Mango Season Weddings was the right fit for us. Annie was responsive to every question we had, whether through text, email, or calls, and she always approached our conversations with kindness and warmth. She thought of details we never would have considered on our own—like personalized champagne glasses with names and table numbers instead of a standard sign—and handled everything from table arrangements to the day-of timeline with impressive precision. What really set Annie apart was how she took the stress completely off our shoulders and let us enjoy the planning process instead of dreading it. She delivered everything we wanted and then went above and beyond in ways we didn't even know to ask for. Many of our family members and friends said this is the nicest wedding they’ve ever been to and asked who our wedding planner was. We cannot recommend Mango Season Weddings highly enough.

Not the planner we were sold
We hired Mango Season Weddings as our day of coordinator for our September 2026 wedding at the Ritz-Carlton O'ahu, Turtle Bay. Annie markets herself as a planner who creates one of a kind weddings. Our experience was the opposite, and once we declined her MC and sound package, her engagement dropped off noticeably. I told her from the start that my dream was a dinner party and that eating with our guests mattered more to me than anything. She did not raise an issue until the timeline review, when she said it was not possible and that I should be taking photos while my guests ate. I asked whether it was a venue restriction. She said no, she just did not think my guests would like it. That was an opinion, not a reason. Annie told us things about our own vendors that were not true. She said she knew our makeup artist and loved working with her. Our makeup artist had never met her. She said our videographer needed microphones that plugged into a sound system and did not have any, and that her sound package was the best way to handle it. She had never spoken to him. He had microphones for everyone. We declined the sound package and were then told we would not have speakers or a microphone because our cellist did not provide them, and that their sound system was the best fix. His contract said otherwise, so I contacted him directly. He could absolutely bring his own system, but Mango Season had told him not to, because we were using theirs. We had never agreed to that. She also told me to stop talking to my vendors and send all emails through . I am glad I did not. Every one of these came to light because I kept talking to them myself. She repeatedly asked for our room and safe codes. She wanted the codes to our rooms and safes so she could move our gifts and cash. At that point we had only ever met her over Zoom. We said no, and she kept bringing it up. We had family who could handle it. Annie did not retain what we discussed. After three separate conversations about cutting our cake early for photos and serving it after dinner, the cake came out immediately anyway. My mom had to catch it and send it back to the kitchen. We purchased a choreographed first dance with its own recorded track, documented in the planning platform she uses. No one confirmed how it would work. Her team moved our cellist and all of his equipment to the dance floor without asking, and it had to be moved back, costing roughly twenty minutes of the live music we paid for. WEDDING DAY We asked about a golf cart and were told it was not possible. My father called the hotel himself and they were happy to send one. Guests were told last call was 9:15. Our bar was contracted until 10:00, and our bartender told them he did not know why that had been announced. Our lighting was contracted until 10:00. Annie let the vendor break it down at 9:30 while we were still dancing. During dinner her husband came to our table to ask how we wanted to start the dancing and how we would get people over to the pavilion. We had just started eating. That was something to settle before the day, not at our table with food in front of us. While we danced our last song in the pavilion, Annie and her husband shut all the doors on us and left. Mango Seasons needs some work on the planning side, and I wish I had gone with someone else. Our wedding day was still beautiful. Thanks to our other vendors who rallied around us, and our families, who filled the gaps.

**ANNIE AND CURTIS WERE THE DIRECTORS OF THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE** Mango Season Weddings made planning our big day feel effortless from start to finish. Annie and Curtis communicated with us in a way that felt honest and gentle, always checking in without being pushy. What impressed us most was how relaxing the whole process became because we trusted them with our vision. I gave Annie some general ideas of how I wanted the day to look, feel, and go, and she turned my hazy vision into the most stunning reality. They handled all the moving pieces so we could actually enjoy the lead-up to our wedding instead of stressing about it. We'd 1000000% recommend Mango Season to any couple looking for planners who care about getting things right. We love Annie, Curtis, Kaui and Lovely! Thank you for caring about our wedding day as much as we did.

Annie and Curtis at Mango Season Weddings were absolutely phenomenal. From the very beginning, they were incredibly communicative, organized, punctual, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but they made the entire process feel effortless. They guided us through everything, from vendor selection to countless small details we never would have thought of on our own. Their planning structure was thorough and thoughtful, and it gave us complete confidence that we were in good hands every step of the way. On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly.
