Big Shot Bun Company is a Boston-based wedding photography and film studio creating refined imagery where editorial composition meets documentary observation. Led by founder and creative director Nicole, we bring one unified creative direction to photography, motion and curated vertical content. Every commission is approached as one complete visual narrative. With over two decades of experience spanning major film productions, artists, the White House, historic castles and exceptional celebrations throughout the United States and Europe, we bring the same preparation and attention to detail to every wedding.

Our approach is intentional and unobtrusive. We guide when needed, step back when the moment calls for it and create imagery that feels both composed and genuinely lived. Photography and film collections are customized around your celebration and begin at $7,000 per service. Combined collections are available by proposal.

    Genuinely puts their clients first!

    From our very first call, we immediately felt secure, heard, valued, and truly listened to as clients. Choosing a wedding videographer and photographer is such an important decision, and this team made us feel confident that our special day was in the best hands. They were incredibly attentive to every detail, thoughtful throughout the entire process, and always communicative. Any questions, calls, or messages we had were answered within a reasonable timeframe, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. Their professionalism and genuine care were evident from beginning to end. The final photos and videos were delivered quickly and efficiently, and they went above and beyond our expectations. We absolutely love every moment they captured and are so grateful to have these memories preserved so beautifully. They truly captured the emotion, joy, and magic of our wedding day.     We booked Big Shot Bun Company for our intimate elopement AND our big wedding. Not only were the photos phenomenal, stunning, gorgeous. Austen and Luke made us feel right at home on during big/scary/vulnerable moments. They were by far the best vendor we booked, and I plan on using them for any other photography/videography needs in the future.

    100/10 Do recommend!

    Our love story was a bit unique in that we wanted to be legally married before our wedding. Instead of simply going to the courthouse, we went for whimsical flair (just like us!) and had a micro-ceremony at the Boston Public Library. I am beyond grateful that we were able to book their lead team for our mini ceremony! Everything came out so amazing, that we booked them as photography for our wedding as well. Our only regret is not booking video for both weddings too. The photos are everything I have dreamed of since I was a little girl and more. The video perfectly captures us, but in a way that's cool and artistic. Having the intimate ceremony before the wedding was a game changer for us all around, but especially in terms of photos. We were able to get comfortable around Nicole and her team and they were able to capture the beauty in us in vulnerable moments (like sobbing during our vows BOTH times!) We loved them so much we're even considering booking them for an anniversary shoot! I HIGHLY recommend doing two ceremonies and I HIGHLY recommend booking Big Shot Bun Company if you want stunning photography/videography with personal touch!

    MAGICAL

    Working with the Big Shot Bun Company photographer and videographer was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. They were patient, attentive, and relatable, making us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Their talent is truly magical - the photos they captured of our special day are perfect, showcasing their years of experience in a way that exceeds all of our expectations. They helped organize the logistics of when and where photos needed to happen, and even offered guidance on how we could best enjoy our wedding night, going above and beyond their duties as photographer/videographer. Both of them were so sweet and made sure all of our guests felt comfortable every step of the way. The photographer zoomed a couple times beforehand to ask questions, and about any family or friend situations to be aware of, which we thought was a thoughtful and smart approach. We got everything back WAY sooner than we thought we would, especially with it being around the holidays. These two seriously put in the work. We are thrilled with the final product and cannot recommend the Big Shot Bun Company highly enough.

    Best. Choice. Ever.

    Thank you Big Shot Bun Company! We loved having both of them as our photographer and videographer, they really made us feel special and the pictures and films are amazing! We also had an engagement shoot leading up to the wedding, which was so much fun, and great to get to know her before the wedding. We were very relaxed with her and she was great fun :) She was also really professional and full of advice and tips for helping things run smoothly, we always felt in very safe and capable hands. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone - wish we had more reasons for photo shoots with them!

We accept a considered number of weddings each year, so we recommend beginning the conversation as soon as your date and venue are confirmed. Yes. Each commission is assembled around the scale, setting and creative requirements of the celebration. Collections may include a lead photographer, dedicated filmmaker, second photographer and additional production support where appropriate. Whether your wedding requires an intimate team or more extensive coverage, every artist works under one cohesive creative direction.
Every photograph included in your final collection is individually reviewed and professionally finished. Our editing considers composition, color, tone, exposure and detail while preserving the atmosphere of the day. The result is a polished, visually consistent body of work—not a collection shaped by filters or passing trends.
Yes. Photography and filmmaking can be commissioned separately or created together as one integrated visual collection. Our films combine cinematic portraiture with unscripted movement, voices and atmosphere. Because the photographers and filmmakers share one creative direction, the finished photographs and films feel connected rather than produced by separate teams.
Preview photographs are generally delivered within 24–48 hours. Intimate celebrations may receive their complete collection within 72 hours, while larger weddings are normally completed within 7–14 business days. Your precise delivery schedule will be confirmed within your chosen collection. We work quickly, but never at the expense of considered editing or finish.
The final number is shaped by the length, pace and complexity of the celebration rather than an arbitrary quota. We photograph generously and edit with discernment, preserving everything meaningful while removing repetition, test frames and images that do not strengthen the finished story. Yes. Big Shot Bun Company carries professional liability insurance. When a venue requires a certificate of insurance, we can provide the necessary documentation directly to the venue or planning team.
Across more than two decades of professional work, we have never abandoned a confirmed wedding commission. Nevertheless, serious productions require serious contingency planning. We maintain an established network of trusted photographers and filmmakers who meet our professional and creative standards. In the exceptionally rare event that a team member becomes unavailable, we arrange appropriate replacement coverage ourselves. Big Shot Bun Company remains responsible for the creative direction, editing and delivery of the finished collection, ensuring that the visual standard and client experience remain consistent.
