About Brett Alison Photography
Brett Alison
I’m a New Hampshire wedding photographer, who specializes in candid, natural wedding photography, serving all of New England for over fifteen years. Almost all of my couples come to me saying that they feel weird in front of the camera and worried about how their photos will turn out. But of course they want those gorgeous, Pinterest-worthy shots! My laid-back attitude will help put you at ease, helping your true personalities shine through (with simple and fun guidance for the posed photos). And my quiet and calm nature makes it easy for me to blend into the background, to get tons of candid photos that you will make you laugh and cry.
My candid and unobtrusive style brings out the real personalities that you want to shine through! I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve met with clients and they tell me stories of how they were just at a wedding and they hardly saw the happy couple because they were off taking photos half the night and missed out on dinner. What? Don’t miss your reception, people! Your wedding should be about celebrating the two of you and having an awesome time with your closest friends and family. I don’t believe in re-enacting moments, forcing awkward poses, or making your wedding into an all day photo shoot.

Brett and her photos exceeded our expectations!
Cannot recommend Brett enough to any future couples! From day one she was communicative, responsive, and transparent with any questions and details leading up to the big day. On top of that, she was so thoughtful, organized, and so easy to work with. She was truly the ideal vendor to work with during the wedding planning process! Day of, she did a great job of being a true fly on the wall for a couple who doesn't love the camera, with a calm presence, while making sure we still stayed on schedule and followed our shot list. I was so impressed with how quickly sneak peeks came in and the full album was ready shortly after as well. She absolutely delivered and exceeded our expectations with the photos, she help execute our vision of the day for posed photos and captured so many great candids as well. We would recommend Brett in a heartbeat and cannot thank her enough for capturing our day perfectly!

From our first conversation with Brett, we knew we had found the right fit for our wedding day.
