I started Darling Divine Photography because I’ve always enjoyed the beautiful things you notice about people when you quietly observe them and I wanted to preserve those beautiful things. I think it is such a gift to have a precious moment frozen in time so you can hold onto it forever and I’m passionate about giving that to the couples I work with.

I am a connection based documentary style photographer. That’s just a fancy way of saying I care more about people and how they feel than putting them into stiff, unnatural poses. I want your photos to feel true to you and capture the genuine emotions of the moment.

This collection is great for couples who are planning a shorter day—maybe an evening ceremony as an example. 7hrs can be enough to capture getting ready photos all the way to the Bride and Groom exit or it can focus on some key elements of the day that are most important to the couple.

The Essentials Collection

Description

This collection is great for elopement style wedding days or couples who mainly want a few parts of the day photographed. As an example this could be a courthouse wedding, Bride and Groom portraits, and a small dinner with close friends and family. Another example would be to start at the Ceremony, get some family photos, Bridal Party, Bride & Groom Portraits, and end with some party photos of the reception.

Typically, couples book me around 6-10 months before their wedding date. I choose to photograph a limited number of weddings a year so I do encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I am currently training my Husband as my assistant and eventually second shooter—Husband & Wife photography team? Cute! Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited so that the colors, saturation, exposure, and softness fit the feelings of the day and preserve just how beautiful and meaningful it was. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-8 months. This time allows me to curate photos that really get to the heart of each precious moment captured of your day while also balancing my family life.
I am a severe over-shooter and personally find meaning in every micro expression, so I take about 6 photos a minute. Of those anywhere from 30-100 an hour are real keepers. But keep in mind your final photo count varies depending on which wedding collection you’ve chosen, how many guests you have, your venue, and other factors.
