Hi, Im Carol DeAnda, born and raised in the southwest suburbs and now living in Lake in the Hills Illinois, with my studio in downtown Algonquin. I have always been the one with the camera since grade school, but it wasn't until high school I realized that this could be my calling. After high school, I attended Harrington College of Design for the Digital photography program and started on my path to becoming a professional photographer. I am a PPA member and CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) and hold the Master Wedding Photographer degree from PPA, as well as a member of The Wedding Equality Alliance.
I believe that love is love no matter what and am a big supporter in marriage equality! Anyone who loves someone enough to want to spend their entire lives together deserves to have that love celebrated and remembered through photography. I have also been photographing weddings now for over 15 years which I feel sets me apart due to my experience :)

Second To None. Seriously!
Carol and her team are ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL when it comes to photography! The work is second-to-none, the professionalism is always consistent, and everyone is always so friendly! :) I have been working alongside Carol at weddings for several years now. As a DJ, it can be tough to communicate with vendors and make sure everyone is always ready to go. This is definitely not the case with Carol. I'm able to find her in a moment's notice and she's ready to capture those precious moments in an instant! Not to mention, her genuine love for her clients. Each and every couple that she works for she gives her all - and that not only shows on the day of an event, but also in her work. Carol and her team edit and produce SOME OF THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHY WORK I HAVE EVER SEEN. Seriously. If you haven't checked out her portfolio, do it now. Carol has an eye for not only capturing your ideas, but also the tiny details that no one else would ever think about. Do yourself a favor a book with Carol and her team.

Carol was amazing doing headshots for our company all hands meeting! Carol made everyone feel comfortable & confident and she was willing to do retakes too so everyone was thrilled with their final headshots! We also took a group photo and Carol was able to direct us so we all looked great! And she did it while having fun with us too! I highly highly recommend!!
