    Best photobooth quality I've seen!

    From the moment we reached out, their communication was clear and timely. On the day of the wedding, Susan staffed our photobooth with such kindness and attention to detail, making sure our guests felt comfortable and had a blast. The picture quality turned out exceptional and genuinely looks professional, which we've heard from nearly every guest who's seen them. Highly recommend!

    We booked Impulse Entertainment for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Steve kept things lively from start to finish—the dance floor stayed packed all night with no slow moments. His communication leading up to the big day was straightforward and reliable, which made the planning process stress-free. We got so many compliments from our guests about how energetic and fun the music and vibe were. Steve really understood what we wanted and delivered exactly that.     Absolutely Amazing!

    From beginning to end impulse entertainment was amazing to work with! They were so quick to answer any questions we had and the app they provided was so easy to navigate. Hands down one of if not the best vendor we worked with for our wedding. Ed was awesome to work with day of he always kept us updated on what was coming next so we never felt like we were blindsided by anything we were doing as someone that gets nervous about keeping up with a schedule this was so great it allowed me to really focus on our day and not worry about what time it was or when the first dance was coming. The music was also exactly what we were looking for it captured our style but also Ed made sure he switched it up to keep guests on the floor. I can’t thank them enough for all their help making our wedding so memorable!

    The BEST DJ company!!

    We cannot say enough amazing things about Impulse Entertainment! From the very beginning of the planning process all the way through our wedding night, they were absolutely incredible to work with. Working with Nick, the head of the company, was such a great experience. He was an amazing listener, incredibly responsive, and genuinely took the time to understand what we wanted for our wedding. He made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free, which meant so much to us during such a busy and overwhelming time. We always felt heard, supported, and confident that everything was going to come together exactly how we envisioned it. And then there was our DJ, Justin, who was absolutely phenomenal! He completely exceeded our expectations. He listened to everything we wanted and did an amazing job reading the room and keeping the energy going throughout the entire night. The dance floor was packed all night long, and our guests have continued to tell us how much fun they had and how great the music was! What really stood out to us about Justin was how attentive and involved he was throughout the entire evening. He wasn’t just focused on my husband and me—he made a point to check in with our families as well and constantly made sure everything was going smoothly. He was so personable, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding night the best it could possibly be. It felt like he was a part of our celebration rather than just our DJ.     Best day ever!!!

    We had the BEST experience working with Impulse Entertainment for our September 2026 wedding. From the beginning, Nick was very organized and communicated with often which really helped ease our minds with planning! We worked with John as our DJ and he was fantastic! From the moment we first talked with him on the phone we instantly clicked and we knew it was gonna be an awesome day. He helped make the day flow smoothly and kept everything running so that we could genuinely enjoy the day and not have to worry about what needed to be done. John went above and beyond in so many ways and was an absolute pleasure to have as part of our wedding day. Of course, the music was awesome and we did not leave the dance floor the entire night (which was the goal)!

What you really pay for is a DJ that knows you and what you want and can read your crowd to keep them on the dance floor all night.
Yes! We are covered up to $1,000,000 for any liability incident. This means that you, your guests, and your venue are covered! If your venue requires vendor insurance, please make sure to let us know and we’ll do the rest!
Absolutely! Beatmixing songs together (like you would hear a radio DJ do), ensures that there aren’t many pauses between songs and will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long without having to stop dancing and wait for the next song to start up again. We will make sure to keep the atmosphere fun and energetic!
We understand that many events (especially weddings) have guests from the ages of 2 to 92! The last thing we want to do is offend anyone with inappropriate lyrics. We make sure that all of our music (even today’s popular songs) is edited to please everyone. In fact, that is all we will play unless you request otherwise at a meeting. Furthermore, we use our best judgement when there are younger people in the crowd to make it a fun-filled night for everyone.
Most definitely! — But this is up to you. If you want your guests to request songs, we will take requests. If you want us to honor a specific playlist we will do that too! By taking requests, your guests can get involved in your event and we can have some fun and interact with them as well!
Currently, we serve Chicago’s north, west, and south suburbs. However, we are not opposed to traveling further for events. We must note that if your event is out of our service area, there will be an increase in price for travel costs.
With over 100,000,000 songs in our online databases, we are sure to have the music you want! If we don’t have it, we get it for you at no extra cost. Also, our songs are downloaded at the highest quality possible (and legally) to ensure you and your guests are experience a crisp, clear sound.
