Delight Story creates wedding photography and films for couples in Houston, The Woodlands and the surrounding area. Led by Chris Lungu, a photographer and videographer with Texas wedding experience since 2003, our approach combines elegant portraits with real emotion and candid storytelling. We bring calm direction when you need it and space for moments to happen naturally. Our team includes Chris (photography and video), Lora (photography), and Andrew and Hanna (video), with coverage shaped around your chosen collection.

Clear collections, personal timeline guidance and one creative team for photography and film. Photography starts at $1,650; Photo + Film starts at $2,650. Our $3,250 Signature Photo + Film collection includes eight hours, photographs, highlight and ceremony films, a 10×10 leather layflat album and an unframed 16×20 print.     A Fairytale Wedding at Madera Estates

    Getting married at Madera Estates felt like a fairytale, and Mike and Lora made sure we’ll never forget a single moment. From the Spanish-style arches to the twinkle lights at night, they captured the beauty of the venue and all the emotions of the day so perfectly. What really stood out was how calm and reassuring they were. Weddings can be stressful, but they kept everything flowing smoothly and somehow always knew where to be at the right time. They didn’t just take photos, they told the story of our day in the most magical way. When we got our pictures and video back, I couldn’t stop smiling (and crying a little too). The way they caught the looks on our parents’ faces, the laughter from our friends, and the sweet private moments between me and my husband… it’s priceless. If you’re getting married at Madera Estates, I honestly couldn’t recommend anyone better than Mike and Lora. They turned our wedding into memories we’ll cherish forever.

    So Grateful for Chris & Lora’s Amazing Work

    Our wedding at The Carriage House was absolutely amazing, and having Chris and Lora there made it even better! They took care of photo and video for us, and I can’t believe how beautiful everything turned out. From the very start of the day they made me and my bridesmaids feel so comfortable . We were laughing, taking fun photos, and they kept the energy up the whole time. My bridesmaids are still talking about how much they loved them! During the ceremony and reception, they didn’t miss a thing. The photos look like they came out of a magazine, and the video brings back every emotion. They also made sure to get all the little details I worked so hard on, which means the world to me. Chris and Lora were not just vendors, they felt like part of the family.     The Peach Orchard Wedding of Our Dreams

    We had our wedding at The Peach Orchard and I can’t say enough good things about Mike and Lora. They did our photos, video, and even brought the photobooth, and it was all perfect. From the very beginning they made us feel calm and excited, and on the wedding day they were everywhere without ever being in the way. The pictures are absolutely beautiful, the video made me cry all over again, and the photobooth was such a huge hit with our guests , everyone kept going back for more pictures! What I loved most is that they were so easy to be around, it felt like having friends with us who just happened to be super talented. I’m so thankful we chose them. They truly captured every single moment and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. If you’re getting married at The Peach Orchard (or anywhere really), trust me, you want Mike and Lora on your team!

    Dream Photos at The Bell Tower

    Mike and Lora are AMAZING! They did our engagement photos and our wedding at The Bell Tower, and everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined. They made us feel so relaxed and comfortable, even when I was nervous, and the pictures are just gorgeous. They captured every moment perfectly and were so fun to be around the whole day. Honestly, they felt like friends more than just photographers. I’m so happy we chose them, best decision ever!

    Captured Our Day Perfectly

    Mike, Lora, and Chris are the BEST! They did our engagement pictures on a rooftop and it was honestly a dream. I was kinda nervous at first but they made us laugh and feel so comfortable, and the pictures turned out amazing. For our wedding at Aston Gardens, they worked so hard all day and captured everything, little details, sweet moments, and all the fun on the dance floor too. The video they made made me cry (happy tears!) because it felt like reliving the whole day again. They’re super nice, easy to be around, and honestly felt like friends by the end. I couldn’t imagine my wedding without them and I’m so thankful we picked them. If you need photo and video in Houston, don’t even think twice these are your people!

Absolutely. Every image you receive will be professionally edited in our signature style, color-corrected, polished, and ready to enjoy. We never send unedited files.
Yes! Along with wedding photography, we also offer videography packages, photo booth rentals, and custom-designed albums so you can relive your day in multiple ways.
Photographs are delivered within two weeks. A highlight film, when included, is delivered within four weeks, and an included ceremony film within six weeks.
For an eight-hour wedding, couples typically receive 900–1,200 curated photographs. The final number varies with the timeline and events; shorter celebrations receive fewer. This is a typical range, not a guaranteed minimum.
Yes. We are fully insured, which gives peace of mind to you and your venue. Certificates of insurance can be provided upon request.
We take this very seriously. In the rare event of an emergency, we have a trusted network of professional photographers and videographers who can step in. Your memories are always protected.

My approach blends photojournalism with editorial-style portraits, capturing authentic moments as they happen, with intentional artistry. You’ll get images and video that feel candid, emotional, and timeless.
I’ve been photographing and videography weddings since 2003, and during that time I’ve covered over 1000 ceremonies, everything from intimate elopements to full-day celebrations.
I come fully equipped with multiple camera bodies, lenses, lighting gear, and extra batteries/cards. Plus, I travel with backup equipment so even if something malfunctions, we’re fully covered.
Every collection requires a $1,000 retainer, credited toward the total including tax. Your date is reserved after signing, successful payment and booking confirmation. Pay through the secure Square link emailed to you. We send a separate invoice for the remaining balance, due 30 days before the wedding. For weddings fewer than 30 days away, contact us before booking; full payment is due at booking.

I’m fully comfortable working in all lighting conditions , whether it’s a naturally lit ceremony or a dimly lit reception. For ceremonies, I use specialized low-light lenses such as my 85mm f/1.2, which allows me to capture crisp, bright images without using flash, perfect for respecting church rules and avoiding distractions. For receptions, I strategically set up four professional flashes around the room to create flattering, natural-looking light while still preserving the ambiance and atmosphere.
