Hi, I'm Emily - a journalism major drop-out turned wedding photographer that loves all things editorial and story telling. Think back to any impactful photo you've seen in the media, the key to remembering it is that it made you *feel* something, and that's what I strive to bring forward in the wedding photography industry.

Wedding photography should be a lot of things, but it shouldn't be emotionless. So much of wedding photography in 2024 is "go here. stand here. do this" and then the picture is taken. When you look back, you remember it wasn't a real moment. On the other end, you don't deserve a photographer that leaves you flailing around all day wondering what to do! That would suck. So, that's where we find our passion - in creating real, beautiful, images that tell your story without making it feel like a photoshoot, while making you feel comfortable behind the camera at the same time. We have 3 different photo collections to choose from, starting at $2500 and moving up to $5000 depending on your needs - all require a $1000 deposit to book and all of our packages are 100% customizable to include engagements, bridals, wedding albums and other add ons.

Video Only Collections

    Wedding session!

    We booked them for our wedding! Emily was amazing at being so responsive to all my questions before the wedding! We had Lauren as our photographer. Our wedding was a more non-traditional relaxed wedding. She was so amazing at making me feel super comfortable! She knew exactly what to do and how to pose us! Super sweet & her ideas were amazing! I would highly recommend them for any photography session!

    Love Emily Michelle!!!

    I loved working with Emily and her team! She was so kind and super quick to respond every time I had any kind of question! On our wedding day I was really nervous because I am not one for taking photos but she made me feel so comfortable and confident! I had such a great experience working with her and Tessa!     Amazing Wedding Photographer!

    We loved working with Emily Michelle Photography to capture our wedding day! From the beginning, Emily was incredibly communicative and made everything stress-free from start to finish. Her array of packages give you numerous options to fit any of your photography needs and she provides guides, tips and advice as you approach your big day. On our wedding day Lauren, our lead photographer, and Devin, our second shooter, were absolutely wonderful! They brought such great energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to every moment.     The EMP team was AMAZING throughout our entire wedding process. From the initial time of booking, the EMP team sent over multiple emails with important/helpful information and they were always responsive via text. On the day of our wedding the team was extremely attentive and made sure that our day was going according to what was important to us. They were great with any photos we asked for and efficiently captured all our big moments and still managed to get the overall vibe of our large 200 person wedding. They were calm throughout the day and made it easy for myself, my groom, our families and our wedding party to relax and be authentic. I could not recommend the EMP team enough!!

Typically, couples book me about 13 to 15 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame!
Yep! We edit and return all of your images that meet quality standards, so you won't miss any moments!
We do! We are a photo + video team and offer videography as well - our videographer, Lauren, is AMAZING.
My turnaround time varies by season and length/size of wedding. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 6-10 weeks after your wedding, but we offer next day sneak peaks in some of our packages!
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
The great thing about booking with a photography team is that one of our employed associate shooters would step in as your lead, and there would be no changes or interruptions in your booked package with us!
