We’re Mike and Lisa, the husband-and-wife team behind Epic Vision Studios, a Southern California wedding photography studio based in Simi Valley. Since 2013, we’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of weddings and helping couples preserve one of life’s most meaningful celebrations. Our approach blends an elevated, editorial aesthetic with genuine emotion and timeless storytelling, while keeping the experience comfortable, relaxed, and personal from beginning to end. We photograph weddings throughout Ventura County, Los Angeles, Malibu, Pasadena, Santa Barbara, and destinations across Southern California and beyond.

What sets us apart is the experience of having a husband-and-wife photography team who understands how to work together seamlessly while capturing your wedding from two unique perspectives. Our style blends wedding photojournalism with fine-art and editorial influences, allowing us to create refined, timeless portraits while preserving the genuine connections, laughter, emotion, and unscripted moments that make your celebration uniquely yours. After photographing hundreds of weddings together, we know when to offer direction, when to step back, and how to help couples feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

Most couples book us 9–14 months in advance, especially for popular spring and fall dates. That said, every wedding is different, so we always encourage couples to reach out even if their wedding is coming up sooner. If we're available, we'd love to hear about your plans!
Yes. Every final image you receive is individually reviewed, professionally edited, and color corrected to create a polished and consistent collection while keeping your wedding photographs natural and timeless.
Yes. All of our wedding photography packages include a professional second photographer, allowing us to capture your wedding day from multiple perspectives and ensure the important moments, details, and reactions are beautifully documented.
Yes. Epic Vision Studios carries professional liability insurance. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, just let us know and we'll be happy to provide one.
Our turnaround time for a complete wedding gallery is nine weeks, beginning the day after your wedding. Every final image is carefully reviewed, professionally edited, and color corrected before your gallery is delivered. Please note that turnaround times may be slightly extended when they overlap with major holidays and our studio’s holiday schedule. Please contact us for details if your delivery timeframe falls during a holiday period.
Every wedding is different, so we don’t place a set limit on the number of images you’ll receive. The final number depends on the length of coverage and everything happening throughout your wedding day.
Absolutely! We photograph and celebrate all couples and would be honored to capture your wedding day.
We take backup planning very seriously. We know couples often plan their weddings many months in advance, so being prepared for the unexpected is incredibly important to us. Every Epic Vision Studios wedding includes a professional second photographer, giving us an experienced photographer already on the team who can step in if an emergency prevents me from photographing your wedding. If that option isn’t the right fit, we’ll help you find another professional photographer. If neither option works, any applicable payments would be refunded in accordance with your wedding contract.
