James’ style caught my eye right away, and I remember thinking, I need him to photograph my wedding. When I found out he was available on our date, I was so excited because I already knew we were in good hands. Not only is James incredibly talented, but he was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. He was communicative, friendly, and made everything feel so natural. Somehow, he was able to capture so many moments and shots that went far beyond our expectations. I already loved his work before our wedding, but seeing our own photos made me realize just how talented he really is. There are so many pictures that I honestly can’t stop looking at, and some of them are genuinely my favorite photos I’ve ever seen. We truly hired the right person for the job and could not be happier with how everything turned out. He gave us a treasured keepsake that captured our day perfectly and something we’ll be able to relive for years to come. James is a remarkable photographer with a keen eye & like a chameleon when it comes to capture specific shots in certain styles if you will. Most of his photography is lively and entertaining but he truly knows how to capture the hustle bustle & energy of a wedding day. All the same- he’s qually fantastic when it comes to giving direction (as needed) for any portraiture type photos and artistic flair. We love him so much words won’t even do it justice!

I was in a few weddings that James shot previously, so I knew as soon as I got engaged that I needed to book him. James is SO talented. He has a unique eye for shots and creates stunning photos. I wanted pictures from my wedding that I could frame and hang on my walls, and less than a month after getting our pictures back, I already have three Smallwoods hanging on my walls. He is such a pleasure to work with and definitely brings the energy to keep you smiling in your photos all day. I will continue singing his praises and recommend him to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer.

As a wedding videographer working alongside James Webb on a wedding day, I knew I had to have him on MY big day. Outside of his amazing photos, his personality is perfect for the job. He is laid back and easy going yet gets s*** done when need be. Sometimes weddings run behind and you need someone to still be able to take amazing photos and get you to cocktail hour.
