Joanna Tano is a Maui-based wedding and family photographer, based in Kula, working full-time since 2007 with 300+ weddings photographed. She shoots weddings, elopements, and family sessions on Maui, the Big Island, Oahu, Kauai, and Lana'i.

    We have worked with Joanna twice now - the first for our wedding and the second on family vacation with the addition of our son. She is absolutely wonderful and has helped us capture so many special memories in a place that is very dear to our family! She is thorough and thoughtful, and truly listens to the types of photos you want to capture. She even accommodated us using a "smash pie" for our 1-year-olds birthday photos! Would recommend her to anyone, time and time again, and without question will reach out to her on our next trip! Maholo Joanna!

    We had such a wonderful experience with our photographer! Joanna was professional, patient, and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the entire session. I am always the main photographer, no associates, so you know that I will be shooting your wedding! I have a second photographer for my packages with 4 hours or more of coverage or you can add one on to smaller packages for a fee.
No, but I am happy to make recommendations.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 1-3 weeks after your wedding.
