I’m Kate, a Milwaukee-based photographer with a documentary approach and a cinematic touch. I focus on real moments as they naturally unfold - the in-between glances, laughter, quiet emotions, and all the little details that tell your story. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, present, and able to actually enjoy your wedding day. The result? Photos that feel natural, emotional, and timeless - images that reflect how your day truly looked and felt.

What sets me apart is my calm, documentary approach and focus on creating a relaxed, comfortable experience. Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera, and that’s completely normal. I offer gentle guidance when needed, but I don’t over-pose or interrupt moments as they naturally unfold. My style blends documentary storytelling with a cinematic feel, capturing real emotions, natural interactions, and meaningful in-between moments. The result is honest, timeless imagery that reflects not just how your wedding looked, but how it truly felt.

    Extremely Professional

    Katophotoo was the perfect wedding photographer for our special day. Her communication was super quick, and she always answered any questions we had. Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I’ll send you a sneak peek within 3 days of your wedding, and the full gallery will be ready in about 6-8 weeks. I promise it’ll be worth the wait!
You can expect about 50-70 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
I’m all about capturing real moments with a cinematic, natural vibe. I focus on making you feel comfortable so that the photos feel authentic, not staged. It’s all about telling your unique story!
Yes! I highly recommend doing an engagement session—it's a fun way for us to get to know each other, and you get to practice being in front of the camera. Plus, you’ll have some beautiful photos to use for your save-the-dates or wedding website.
