Nova Photos

Nova Photos is a wedding photography, videography, and photo booth studio in Chicago, IL. We're a multicultural, multilingual, LGBTQ-friendly, photographer/employee-owned studio dedicated to documenting the most memorable moments of your wedding day! Collectively, we have captured over 10,000 weddings. At Nova Photos, we work with our clients every step of the way. The team provides comprehensive support with planning locations, setting up permits, and creating a timeline that works for them and their other vendors. Every couple deserves more than just memories; they deserve a timeless keepsake that captures the essence of their love story!

We offer affordable high quality photography, videography and photo booth services! Each of our packages includes the digital copies so that our clients own their photos and they can do whatever they want with them! We offer reasonably priced prints as well! We are experienced in capturing every type of religious ceremony!

    Engagement and wedding photos

    Maks did an INCREDIBLE job being our photographer and truly made our perfect day come to life behind the camera. He was fun and easy to work with and a joy to be around. My husband and I are so thrilled with how the photos turned out! It could not have been a better day! Very impressed with the professionalism and expertise of Nova Photos.

    Nova Photos -Perfect for those important moments

    We hired Nova Photos for our engagement photos and wedding photos/video and everything was phenomenal! We worked with our photographer, Gemma, first at our engagement shoot and couldn’t have been more pleased. She had great communication before the day, she was very personable and made us feel immediately comfortable during the shoot. The final photos that were delivered to us were beautiful, artistic and perfectly captured our joy in the moment. The day of the wedding was more of the same but with Hanan and Tony rounding out the team. They were all amazing to work with, very professional and calming during our pre-ceremony shoot. During the ceremony and reception they were always in the right spot at the right time, never in the way, and they made sure to capture every important moment with all the wonderful people in attendance. We will definitely use Nova Photos again for more important moments in our lives!

    Nova Photos

    I can't say enough great things about Nova Photos!! Everyone was just fantastic to work with! Van was extremely friendly and helpful during our wedding planning process. He was easy to get a hold of via phone/email and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Max was our incredible wedding photographer. I usually feel awkward in front of cameras but Max kept everything light-hearted and fun! You can tell he loves what he does, as he puts thought and care into each photo. He had a good balance between posed and candid photos and we especially loved the silly photos we got to take! Hanan was our videographer and WOW. He was not only nice to work with on the day of the wedding but he created a wedding video that seamlessly captured all of our special moments. The way he tied the clips together was beautifully done. Jasmine was our photo booth operator and she had such a relaxed and fun personality. She was helpful to all of our guests as they picked out props and she kindly guided everyone on instructions for the picture taking process. Thank you Nova Photos for helping create such incredible memories for us to look back on!

    Photography and Videography

    From our first conversation, Nova Photos made it clear they genuinely cared about capturing our day the right way. Maks and Tariq were easy to talk to and asked to see my inspiration photos, which helped them understand exactly what I wanted without making me feel stressed or rushed. On the wedding day, they showed up on time and went out of their way to make things work, adapting to our needs and keeping everything running smoothly. Their willingness to accommodate our requests and vision really set them apart. We felt comfortable and supported throughout the entire process, and the final photos exceeded what we hoped for. We would absolutely recommend Nova Photos to any couple looking for photographers who truly want to make your wedding special.

Typically, couples book us about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
Yes, absolutely! Our video services range in price depending on the amount of coverage you need.
Photos take at most 4 weeks to be edited and made available for viewing whereas video takes no more than 4 months to be completed!
We do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
