Kerri Kurz
My name is Kerri Kurz and I can't wait to meet you! Before we meet I want to tell you a little bit about me. I have a degree in Professional Wedding and Portrait Photography from Hennepin Technical College and I have been creating photographic memories since 2002. I continue my education by attending classes and seminars throughout the year. Attending these classes helps me stay on top of the latest trends in the business and allows me to give you the best creative gift I have to offer!
My wedding photography has been receiving awards since my first competition in 2002 where I received the highest wedding print score from The Twin Cities Professional Photographers Association. I LOVE all types of photography and strive to create the best image I can every time I pick up the camera to the final image that you see. As the owner of Kerri Ann Photography, it is my goal to provide the best images I can at an affordable price for everyone.

Kerri was the best! We loved her minimal editing style keeping photos as natural and candid as possible. We really appreciated that she would meet us in person during the search process. She is kind, down to earth and a world of knowledge. I ask her questions about various things and she gave me her honest opinion. She is very timely in her responses. She made our day flow so smoothly even when we ran behind with hair and makeup she got us back on track. I'd 1000% use her not only again but tell all my family and friends to use her for their photography needs.

The best photos I could have asked for!!
We recently received our wedding photos, and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! Kerri did an incredible job capturing our day and all of the special moments we will cherish forever. From start to finish, she was absolutely amazing to work with. We are so grateful for all of the time, energy, and care she put into making sure every detail was captured. Throughout the entire process, she was organized, kind, professional, and helped everything run so smoothly. She made not only us, but our family and wedding party, feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. I’ve honestly never enjoyed having my picture taken, but Kerri made it feel so easy and natural that I actually wanted to. That says so much about her talent and ability to make people feel at ease. She guided us every step of the way without making anything feel forced or awkward. When we received our gallery, we were blown away. 10/10 Would Recommend!
We had an incredible experience working with Kerri for both our engagement session and wedding day. We took our engagement photos in the Stone Arch Bridge area of Northeast Minneapolis, and despite it being late fall in Minnesota (that awkward brown season with no leaves and no snow!), she suggested beautiful locations that perfectly matched the vibe we were going for. We don’t often have professional photos taken, but she made us feel confident, comfortable, and like ourselves. The engagement session was also so helpful in knowing what to expect on our wedding day and allowed her to truly get to know us as a couple. From the very beginning, Kerri helped with our timeline planning and coordinated seamlessly with my day-of coordinator. On the wedding day, hair and makeup ran long which delayed wedding party and family photos. We also have a large family on the groom’s side, so wrangling everyone could have been chaotic — but Kerri handled it flawlessly. She calmly took command without being overbearing, had the next groups on standby, and even split time with her assistant so we could make up lost time. I truly didn’t even realize we were behind schedule until after the celebration was over. Later in the evening, catering delays pushed back dances and speeches. Kerri proactively offered (pressure-free) to stay an extra hour, coordinating that through my day-of planner. Because of that flexibility, we were able to capture our first dances, speeches, and even some fun extra photos at our mini-golf setup. That additional hour made such a difference in how comfortable I felt with the flow of the evening. We received our full gallery in under a month (ahead of the estimated 5–6 week timeline), and our honest first reaction was: these photos are AMAZING. They feel timeless and heirloom-quality — the kind of images that will still look beautiful 10 or 20 years from now. The photos truly reflect how flawless and special the day felt. Kerri is caring, attentive to detail, calming, and an absolute professional. She is both directive when needed and seamlessly blends into the background at the right moments. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and would tell any bride that she is a must-have for an excellent wedding day.
