Hello! My name is Layla and I am a photographer based out of Peru, Indiana. I have owned my business for just over two years, but my experience goes back to when I was in middle school when I photographed my very first wedding.

I love to offer the true definition of Hoosier hospitality. I want to capture your day, party with you, celebrate with you, and most importantly FEEL with you. If you're looking for a chatty, bubbly personality for your wedding day, look no further!

    10/10 photographer!!!

    From the moment we booked LD Photos, we knew we made the right choice. Layla responded to every message quickly and was so kind throughout the entire planning process. On our wedding day, she captured stunning photos while also going above and beyond. When our rings were accidentally left in the bridal suite, she sprinted across the venue to grab them so we didn’t have any interruptions to our ceremony! Beyond just taking pictures, she was so fun and lively, even joining us on the dance floor during the reception. Whenever any small issues popped up, she jumped right in to fix them without us having to ask. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to be part of our special day!

    Wonderful experience and service!

    Layla did a fantastic job with our wedding and engagement photos. They turned out better than I ever could have imagined! She worked with me to understand what look I was going for, and was great at communicating. As a couple who doesn't take photos often, she made my husband and I feel so comfortable and natural during the whole session. My engagement photos arrived early and she delivered WAY more photos than the contract promises, giving us plenty to choose from. On our wedding day she was there on time and I felt so comfortable having her capture the memories from our special day. I would highly recommend LD photos.

All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. You will receive every good image.
Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. A lot of times depending on availability I can make a shorter time frame work!
Within 48 hours you will receive 10-15 sneak peek images. My turnaround time for the full gallery is 4 weeks from your wedding day. You will receive an email to your full gallery where you can download all of the images.
Occasionally I will bring an assistant depending on the size of your wedding. This is available at no extra cost to you. A second-shooter is available at an additional cost, and pricing may depend on which package you select.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
