My name is Malika and I’m a Wedding and Portrait Photographer located in Sacramento, CA. I have a love for traveling and aim to serve clients all around the world. I'm passport ready! When you choose me as your Photographer, not only will you have someone who is skilled and talented in capturing emotion, but you will also have someone who genuinely cares. I strive to create a comfortable environment where clients can feel at ease, enabling me to capture their most authentic selves. While I’m your Photographer, I also want to feel like a friend by the end of our session. My goal is for you to have fun and feel confident!

Most couples book a year in advance, some a little shorter. The best thing to do is figure out which vendors are most important to you, then book those first. It doesn't hurt to reach out even if things are last minute, but the longer you wait, the less likely you'll get your first choice in vendors.
Nope! This is a one woman show. If I come across a wedding that seems like I may need assistance, I will reach out to local photographers and get that covered. So far so good!
Before I start to edit photos, I go through the whole batch and get rid of any duplicates, blurry photos, images with unflattering looks, etc. The remaining images are edited to enhance lighting, saturation, contrast, sharpness and the overall look of the photo.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos 4-8 weeks after your wedding via an online gallery, but I usually share sneak peeks within the first week. You'll have a customized link that you can share with family and friends so they can easily print and download your photos.
I don't like to give a definite number, instead I like to ensure that your moments will be documented from start to finish. As an estimate, on average I deliver around 600 final images, but keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. Don't worry, I won't keep any good photos from you!
