I've always cherished the in-between moments - the double-take as you catch that first glimpse of your loved one walking down the aisle, the goofy faces you make at each other in between formal photos, the laughter as you trip over your words during your vows. As a classically trained musician, I learned from a young age to always keep an eye out for the tiniest of details, and I've carried that into my photography practice. I'll catch those little golden snapshots that others may never notice--and I'll help you look and feel your most natural, comfortable, and beautiful on your special day.

Wonderful photographer
We had an amazing experience working with Mei Day Photography from start to finish. Mei was open and friendly throughout our entire planning process, making us feel comfortable and heard. On our wedding day, she professionally directed our family for photos and captured beautiful moments we didn't even know were happening. Her work has this warm, light quality that perfectly shows the joy and love from our celebration. We were blown away when we saw our sneak peeks and couldn't stop showing them to everyone. We'd absolutely recommend Mei to any couple looking for a photographer who truly cares about telling your story.

The most magical photographer
just want to start by saying, if you’re wondering whether you should use Mei as your photographer, do it and book her quickly. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to fully capture in words what she was able to capture in photographs, but I am so incredibly happy with her work. I can’t stop looking at all my photos and feeling all the love that comes through each picture. She is truly an artist, and she helped bring a crazy idea of mine to life. I had no idea how a first look on a nyc tram full of people would work, or if it could even be done but I knew I wanted it—and she not only made it happen, she made the entire execution feel completely stress-free. The photos were better than I could have ever dreamed of. As I go through my pictures, I feel like I’m being transported right back to that night. If I could describe one thing that she did incredibly well, it was capturing not just beautiful pictures, but the entire feeling and joy of our wedding. Looking through them, I can feel everything all over again. I can’t thank her enough, and I truly can’t wait to see more of her work in the future!

Fantastic Wedding Photography
From our first conversation, we knew Mei Day Photography was the right choice for our wedding. She responded quickly to our questions and was genuinely easy to work with throughout the entire process. Before the big day, we had a few Zoom consultations to review the shots we wanted and Mei helped us compile a list of everyone who needed to be photographed together, which ensured everything ran smoothly. On our wedding day, Mei captured stunning photos of us as a couple and caught precious moments happening all around the venue without us even having to ask. Her eye for detail and technical skill really showed in every image. We could not have asked for a better photographer to document our special day!

Fun-Filled Couples Photoshoot
