Professional, Kind, and Easy to Work With

Melchy provided exactly the wedding photography services we were looking for: minimalist, using natural light, and adaptable. She was very familiar with our venue of Franklin Park Conservatory, and was able to choose locations, times, and methods that made the entire process efficient not only for us, but all of our family members and wedding party members, as well. She was very understanding and accommodating of sensitive family dynamics and made the family wedding portraits run smoothly and easily. She was even able to change the location of the photos at the last minute to a different area that was both beautiful and cut down walking distance in order to accommodate family members who found walking difficult. Within the first few minutes of speaking with Mel, we felt like we had known her for years. And by the time our wedding actually rolled around, Mel felt more like a guest and friend than a vendor. She even sent us previews of our wedding photos within hours of our reception ending! Amazing. We were very pleased with our entire experience with Melchy and would gladly recommend her to all those looking for a professional, kind wedding photographer. You will be in excellent hands!

Melchy was not just an amazing photographer, but also an amazing person to work with. We spent a lot of time looking for a photographer, and loved Melchy's natural style and how she captured beautiful candids. She set us at ease in our meetings and was collaborative when it came to shot lists and helping us figure out what we wanted. On the day of our wedding she was a calming yet enthusiastic presence.
