My business of photography started in 1997 when shooting images for Real Estate Catalogs. From there Mere’s love grew into landscapes, surfing and interesting details of our lives. Studied in California, Costa Rica and Virginia, she often can be found near the sea to enjoy some surf and the spectacular surroundings of coastal life. Mere Crockett Photography is based out of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina-where it’s still small enough to call a town. Mere Crockett specializes in Boudoir, Engagements, Weddings, LGBT Wedding Photography, Families, Seniors & Prom, and Headshots.

What sets me apart from others is my organic yet organized working flow. I will ride the wave of the event, yet also have an organized approach. I look for unique lighting opportunities and enjoy capturing a photojournalistic approach to weddings while also providing the posed art styled images.

    Intuitive and Accommodating Wedding Photographer

    Meredith was amazing at my wedding. She has an intuitive way to get the best pictures of you and your loved ones. She is also accommodating to what you want and what you need. Her positive and warm attitude allowed me to feel comfortable and it shows in my pictures. I think her background in surfing photography allows her to capture the best moments quickly, and she knows lighting well too! Her ability to capture tiny moments into a warm and loving photo make her extremely valuable any wedding team. My wedding was captured beautifully . I would highly recommend Meredith! :)

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. You will also get a few previews within about a day.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
