I’m a Northern California wedding and portrait photographer with a deep love for people, connection, and honest moments. I come to photography with a background in emergency medicine and biology, which shaped my calm, attentive approach. I photograph weddings with a relaxed, thoughtful style—guiding when needed, stepping back when it matters most, and creating space for genuine moments to unfold. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, cared for, and fully present while I document your day in a way that feels true to you.

What sets me apart is how I show up for people. Before photography, I worked in emergency medicine, which trained me to stay calm, read situations quickly, and take care of others when moments truly matter. On a wedding day, that means I’m steady, prepared, and attentive—whether things are running smoothly or beautifully off-script. I focus on building trust and creating a relaxed environment so you can be present, be yourselves, and enjoy your day while I capture honest, meaningful moments as they unfold.

    Mike did an amazing job capturing our son’s senior photos as well as cherished shots with his little sister. The experience was relaxing, fun, and easy. Mike gave suggestions for locations and style and also listened to our wishes, making the whole process stress-free. He offered sneak peek photos soon after the session which we really appreciated and we received the remaining photos timely. I recommend booking your wedding at least 9–12 months in advance to secure your date, especially for peak season. For off-season weddings or intimate elopements, 4–6 months can sometimes work, but the earlier you book, the more flexible your options and planning support will be.
Yes! I carefully edit all of your photos to ensure each one is polished, timeless, and true to your day. I aim to capture 80–100 images per hour of your wedding or elopement and deliver all of the best moments — fully edited, high-resolution, ready to enjoy. I do not send RAW files, as my editing is part of creating the final story of your day.
I currently focus on photography only and do not provide video services. However, I can recommend trusted local videographers who align with my style and standards, so your wedding memories are fully captured if you’d like both photo and video coverage.
I know you’ll be eager to see your day come to life, so I provide sneak peeks within just a few days after your wedding! Your full, beautifully edited gallery is delivered within 6–8 weeks for full weddings, or 4–6 weeks for micro weddings and elopements. I take the time to perfect each image so your memories feel timeless, vibrant, and ready to cherish forever.
Yes! I love having a second shooter because it allows me to capture every angle and every moment of your day — from the small, emotional details to the big, lively celebrations — without missing a beat. It gives your story depth and perspective, ensuring your gallery feels complete and fully authentic.
If for any reason I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I have a trusted network of experienced photographers I can call on to step in. Every backup photographer is fully briefed on your day, your timeline, and my style, so your coverage remains seamless and consistent.
For full weddings, I aim to capture 80–100 images per hour, focusing on all the meaningful moments and details of your day. Most full-day weddings result in around 2,000 fully edited images, while micro weddings and elopements typically result in 250–500+ images, depending on coverage and timeline. You’ll receive all of the best moments — beautifully edited, high-resolution, and ready to enjoy.
