Brandi is the face behind Oh Snap Photography & Video. I’m a wedding photographer and filmmaker who loves capturing real moments and genuine connections. My goal is to create photos and films that feel natural and tell your story exactly as it happened—the big moments, the little details, and everything in between. I believe your wedding day should be about being fully present, having fun, and making memories with the people you love most. I’m here not only to capture your day, but to make you feel comfortable, celebrated, and like you’re hanging out with a friend behind the camera.

What sets me apart is my passion for both photography and film. I truly believe couples shouldn’t have to choose between beautiful photos or reliving their day through video — your wedding deserves both. Photos freeze the moments, while film brings them back to life in a completely different way, and I love being able to tell your story through both. For me, it’s about more than just capturing a wedding day. It’s about preserving the emotions, the movement, the voices, the happy tears, and all the little moments that deserve to be remembered for years to come.

    Really BAD Experience

    Hiring Oh Snap is the biggest regret of our wedding, and frankly, a nightmare to work with. I tried to amicably debrief w/Brandi to explain the (literal) dozens of issues we had w/photography, but strangely, she refused to take accountability or even acknowledge a single one. Instead, she was dismissive, manipulative, combative, & rude, and she constantly shifted blame, gaslit me, deflected, had excuses, & when I brought up facts (w/receipts & evidence) re: things she could not logically refute, she just ignored them. She stalked my social media for guests who might counter our negative experience, which is SO inappropriate. While planning w/her, she was typically pleasant, but I see now she's a whole different person when you express issues/criticism. As for our planning together, she's NOT the most organized, on time, professional, reliable, or clear in her communications. She stood me up on occasion, was confusing in her responses, took a long while to get back to me, didn't keep me up-to-date, constantly mischeduled times, didn't take proper meeting notes, forgot things she agreed to, & even getting a clear & current contract was an ordeal. As for the wedding itself—ugh, the word limit on here doesn't allow me to fit it all & certainly not in specifics, so I can only give a general rundown that barely scratches the surface: Firstly, Brandi replaced herself as lead shooter last min & didn't notify us of the change, so we were met w/a stranger on wedding morning. Neither the lead nor 2nd shooter had any familiarity w/the many materials, notes, documents, requests, priorities, & instructions I'd spent months working on & communicating to Brandi. After all that time & effort, it was as if none of it existed come wedding day. Neither shooter referred to our timeline or shot list even once. As such, hardly any of our requested shots were covered & our timeline was completely ignored; hence we missed several significant portions of our wedding that we had expressed were a huge priority & we were promised we'd make, incl. private 1st reveal of the spaces/reaction photos & our entire cocktail hour (missed it ALL solely due to the photog team— and never even got to see it later as they got ZERO photos of cocktail hour). Countless events were bungled, skipped, or mishandled in some major way: both g'men & bridesmaids portraits, wedding party & VIP pics, cake cutting, golden hour shots, flat lays, table visit pics, my solo shots, couple portraits, all items I purchased for photography purposes, etc. I can explain in detail exactly how they carelessly botched each of these, but again I don't have the space here. The photo gallery was surprisingly bad overall, esp. for what we paid. We like mayyybe 20%, and the rest is mediocre at best, plain awful at worst. Many portraits are awkward, cold, off-balance, poorly posed, poorly framed, lighting is bad, background is noisy, composition is terrible, subjects have eyes closed, hair is blocking someone's face, or they're making a weird face, clutter is in the frame of many, etc. Flat lays are so shockingly bad, it'd be comical if it weren't so disappointing. The photos we got look NOTHING like what Oh Snap advertises. We wasted many months (I'd been planning my wedding in some form for years), many thousands of , and so much energy on Oh Snap, and I'd give anything to go back & choose differently. They are not a company that values integrity, professionalism, customer service, or expertise!

    Alyssa, We have spoken multiple times. I have apologized numerous times that your wedding experience wasn’t what you envisioned and explained why things happened they way they did with documentation from your coordinator to support why my team was not at fault for the delays that your day experienced. I have documentation to prove that I have been very kind and professional throughout all of our exchanges over the last several months. To say I’ve been rude and combative is far from the truth, please reread every email I sent you. However, I do have documented proof of you harassing me, swearing at me, and calling me very crude names and threatening me. I understand things may have been missed during your wedding, that is because of how hectic the day was (I have documentation from your coordinator supporting this) and how our timeline wasn’t followed and because of the many delays throughout the time that were not at the fault of the photographers. I have documented notes from my photography team and your coordinator stating that your party was hard to manage because people weren’t where they were supposed to be throughout the day. Additionally, I have never bailed on you and you were never guaranteed a specific photographer. Both of your photographers were assigned on your wedding Google calendar link from the beginning. You live out of state and I even compromised and instead of doing an engagement session we agreed to cover your rehearsal dinner and that is where you met your lead photographer, so the lead photographer was not a stranger on your wedding day. You met her the night before as you requested. As our contract states we are a photography team and that was never brought up as a concern by you. Again, I sympathize that your wedding wasn’t what you envisioned but it was not at the fault of my photography team. My team prioritized shots when they were able to, given the circumstances and what they had to work with. As for your images, your wedding was outside in the middle of a golf course in mid June. It was very sunny with little to no shady options for detail shots or family photos and with those conditions it can be challenging to work with and I believe they did their best. I stand behind my team and I will not speak on this publicly anymore. Legal action will be taken for the continued harassment, threats, and false accusations against my company on multiple platforms and your negative review campaign. -Brandi

    Bride

    We just received our wedding photos back from our October wedding in Frederick, MD and are absolutely in love!! From our engagement session to our wedding, each photographer we worked with was fantastic and managed to capture the magic and emotions of each day perfectly On top of that, the editing of each photo was done so beautifully! The photos are soft yet colors are vibrant, and I just can't say enough good things about Brandi and her fabulous team! The ONLY thing I will say is that communication could have been a bit better. For our engagement shoot, we were told last minute that the individual we thought would be taking our photos had changed. We ended up loving them and their work though, and they were supposed to be the lead photographer for the wedding which we were happy with. Close to the wedding, I checked in to see who the 2nd photographer would be, and was told the lead photographer we were expecting was no longer with the company. Again, both photographers ended up being amazing, but I would have appreciated being told of the change prior to me reaching out and inquiring. Lastly, our photos were late due to server issues which were causing very slow uploads. That alone wasn't a huge issue, but I wasn't notified about what was going on until I followed up the following day. All of that being said, aside from the few issues with communication, each photographer we worked with was wildly talented and such a joy to be around. All of that paired with the gorgeous finished products we received more than made up for the minor issue we experienced with receiving updates and we will be forever grateful

    Beautifully captured

    Brandi from Oh Snap Photography LLC, did a prenominal job with our wedding and engagement photos! She was incredible to work with. She was patient and communicated well. She researched to help us find the best angles, as we didn't know our best sides or poses to do, to help us look our best. When we got our wedding album, I couldn't stop smiling. She did a beautiful job capturing each special moment. I usually hate photos of myself, and I absolutely found so many that I love. I think she did an incredible job capturing both our wedding day and with our engagement photos. She did a fantastic job capturing us in various lighting situations. HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend. Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Primarily it is just myself however, we do have second photographers and additional lead photographers if needed :)
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 30-60 days after your wedding. Depending on the season and how busy I am you can expect to see sneak peeks within 1-2 weeks after.
The number of images you will receive varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. As an estimate for a small elopement you could expect 200 images, or for a very large wedding you can expect upwards of 1200 images. There is never a set or guaranteed amount. The number varies from wedding to wedding.
