I started this business in 2015 to provide people with the highest quality photos with the best amount of value money can buy. I work hard, believe in capturing timeless photos that pop and strive to make sure that your photos capture the beauty of your day!

I provide all day coverage, no worrying about extra time. I give every photo that turns out, not a small pre-determined sample. I do not have any hidden fees, or charges. I give full printing rights so you can save extra on your prints. I am there from the start of the day to the bitter end and you will not find a photographer that will work harder for you. I include an engagement session will all my packages to make sure that I can learn what you like in your photos and I believe that I can capture your day with the highest quality!

    Best Choice!

    I’ve taken a year to reflect on our experiences with Chris from Opus X Photography and I’ve honestly not had anything bad come up with my reflections. The photos from our engagement session and wedding turned out to be absolutely gorgeous and phenomenal. We have several pictures from our wedding day around our house and I catch myself looking at them in awe even though it’s over a year later. We chose the package with the 2nd shooter and didn’t regret it. Bri was our second shooter that day. Chris and Bri showed up with energy and kept that energy all day. Bri was in the Bridal room with us while getting into the gown. She definitely added some hype to the room. Chris and Bri really knew how to get posed and candid shots that truly captured our personalities. I HIGHLY suggest Opus X Photography.     Great photographer to work with

    Opus X Photography exceeded what we were looking for on our wedding day. Chris was enthusiastic and responded quickly to all our questions, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free.     CHRIS IS AMAZING

    We can’t express how much we appreciate Chris and all his work. We absolutely LOVED every single picture. He captured us perfectly and we loved having him apart of our day! We matched our energy perfectly the entire day. He was there the moment we started getting ready to the end of the night. We got the pictures back in only 2.5 weeks which is insane! And got our sneak peaks the day or 2 after! Just an amazing guy and great at his craft! 100% recommend!

    Highly Recommend!

    We had an incredible experience working with Chris for both our engagement session and our wedding day. From start to finish, he exceeded every expectation we had. For our engagement photos, he made the entire shoot so fun, especially because we were able to include our pets. They turned out beautiful. It was the perfect start to our wedding journey. On our wedding day, he was just as impressive. Not only was he punctual and professional, but he also took the time to review our shot list and make sure we stayed on schedule. We took photos before the ceremony and family photos afterward, and he worked so efficiently that we actually ended up early to our reception. We received 50 sneak peek photos by Monday, and they were absolutely stunning. We love that he gave us access to all of the photos he took- he gave them to us on a flash drive and gave us a drop box link so we could immediately share it with friends and family. One of our favorite parts of working with him is that we get to keep all the photos he took, not just the edited ones. It truly feels like we get to relive every moment of the day. With his experience (including having shot at both of our venues before), he made everything feel effortless. We never had to worry—he knew exactly where to be, what shots to prioritize, and how to capture our day perfectly. We are so grateful we chose him and can’t recommend him enough.

I arrive at the venue as early as you would like me there and stay as late as you need me to be there. For some couples this is a 12 or even 16 hour day. I find that an hour or so into the party after first dances usually is the time that couples no longer need me, but if needed to stick around for a sparkler send off, I have no additional charge!
Every photo that turns out you get. I edit every photo that turns out and try to err on the side of providing a photo versus deleting. For many all day weddings in my gold and silver packages I am delivering 2-3000 photos.
I recommend a second shooter when you are looking for multiple perspectives of the same moments, have a large wedding (200+ guests) or are looking for the ultimate coverage for your wedding. I have a network of fellow Minnesota based photographers that I can tap into and have full confidence that I will be able to cover your wedding in the gold package!
I take 50% at booking which is fully refundable up to 90 days ahead of the wedding. The second half is due when I drop off all your finished photos at the end. This way you know I have incentive to complete your photos in a timely manner. To be clear the longest it has ever taken me to complete was 6.5 weeks, and that was for a delivery of 7000 photos! For payment, I accept cash, credit/debit, and Venmo!
