HI, Im Julie, the owner of Fig & Ivy Photography—along with my family. Here are a few little things about me: I’m happily married to my amazing husband, Devin. I’m a mom to three daughters, which means our home is a constant whirlwind of hair, sass, and big personalities. I spend most of my time with my family, including our sweet pup, Jack. Since starting a family (and having far less time to sit down with a book), I’ve become completely hooked on audiobooks—especially anything by Julia Quinn and, of course, Sarah J. Maas.

    We loved working with Julie! She’s experienced and came with plenty of ideas for photo shots. From our engagement pictures to the day of the wedding she was super bubbly, cheerful, and made us laugh. She worked great with other vendors and was go with flow for what we wanted for our day. The night of the wedding she provided us with a sneak peak of some of the photos and we loved all of them. We are looking forward to seeing the rest of the album!

    I’ve been meaning to leave this review for quite awhile, but here we are about to celebrate our first anniversary and I’m reliving the day through all the wonderful images that Julie captured for us! She is the sweetest person ever, super easy to work with, and gave us SO many pictures that we will forever cherish. I’d highly recommend her!!

Before the big day we will sit down and discuss the best moments for the couple photos, expectations and the different lighting... It's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites...! On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. That's why I decided to photograph non-traditional and laid-back weddings. Outdoor photos are a must! You will regret it if we dont capture these!
I'm from Fond du Lac based in WI and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to be with you!
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery and also share them if you choose.
For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 300 to 600 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
