I'm Raphael, founder of Raphi's Edits, a wedding photography business based in Northern Virginia serving couples throughout the greater DC area. I started this business in 2024 out of a deep love for storytelling. My style is moody and cinematic, built to capture the real emotion of your day: the nervous excitement before the ceremony, the way your partner looks at you during vows, the joy of a first dance surrounded by everyone you love. I believe a wedding day is one of life's most sacred milestones, and I approach every shoot with care, presence, and gratitude for being trusted to capture it.

What sets me apart is my cinematic editing style: rich, moody tones with deep contrast and warm, intentional color grading that give every gallery a film-like quality, closer to a movie still than a typical wedding photo. My background as an aerospace engineer shows up in the precision behind that style: careful attention to light, color balance, and composition in every frame. But it's not just technical, I treat every wedding as a story worth telling with care, and my color choices are part of that storytelling, setting the mood and emotion of each moment rather than just documenting it.

    Great expereince

    Raphi's Edits made our wedding day feel effortless from start to finish.     Great photographer

    Raphi is an absolute incredible photographer! He focuses on details, is super patient and listens to what I ask for. He likes to get to know his clients and is very personable. He doesn’t have a limit on the number of pictures to send you but will send all your great poses and even candid ones!
