I need to start by saying that I am not only reviewing right now as a happy client, I’m truly reviewing as a huge fan. I practically selected my wedding day based on Serge’s availability. As an extremely aesthetically picky person, I’ve always known I’d one day be very selective with my wedding photographer. It’s the most important category to me and I knew I wanted the best of the best. So when it came time to start perusing photographers in NYC, I found Serge quickly, as he’s widely known as one of the greats, and I instantly fell in love with his photography. Serge’s work obviously speaks for itself; he is unbelievably talented. There’s something so uniquely elegant about his style. He captures moments with authenticity, timelessness, romanticism, and remarkable beauty, while still remaining classic and understated. I’m a pretty traditional bride but I also love depicting warmth, personality, and joy, and I love how charming and well-rounded his photos are. His portraits are graceful, flattering, sweet, and magazine-worthy. Also, he happens to be the absolute kindest, gentlest, most sweet and lovely human to work with. During the planning process and during the wedding day alike, he was thoughtful, attentive, thorough, involved, and had the most calming and wonderful energy to be around. He was such a great person to be with all day and night and he made us feel so confident and comfortable in front of the camera. He was amazing at posing us and giving us clear direction during portraits, just as much as he was completely stellar and present and always pointing at the right moments for candid shots once the wedding began. He’s a very special person and I couldn’t imagine my wedding being with any other photographer. His second photographer was also wonderful to work with. I am so beyond grateful to have been lucky enough to be with Serge for the best day of our life and we are more than excited to see the photos and cherish them forever. Serge, I literally could never thank you enough and I look forward to recommending you forever and hopefully working with the you again at the first chance I get!!
