10/10 Photography Experience

We had such a great experience having Kendra as our wedding photographer this August. She is so great at using her surroundings to create fun photo opportunities in the moment. In addition to our awesome portraits, we also snuck away during the reception to take some sunset pictures. The editing/lighting was perfect and were some of my favorite photos we took. For both the wedding and our engagement shoot, the outdoor pictures were fantastic and showed how talented she truly is. We are so thankful to Kendra for capturing such special memories. Choosing Cape Ann Weddings as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made!

Simply Amazing

Working with Kendra was so easy. She asks for requests but goes way beyond what we could have come up with ourselves. She has a creative eye and captured all the perfect moments and more. I simply didn't have to worry about anything from start to finish. This wasn't the first and won't be the last time we will have Kendra and Sharon's Studio capturing important family memories.

Kendra photographed our family reunion on a chartered cruise of Boston Harbor, and she really captured the special moments for us, both posed and candid. She took lots of great photos and got several good group shots of the 29 guests, both young and old. The photos will be a wonderful memory of the event. I highly recommend Kendra for any special event.

Kendra Dott is an incredible photographer and an absolute joy to work with. I needed a photographer at the last minute for my son’s rehearsal dinner and welcome cocktails, which took place aboard the Lannon Schooner and at the Gloucester House. I feel incredibly lucky that Kendra was available! From the moment she arrived, Kendra was professional, warm, and incredibly easy to work with. She moved effortlessly through the evening, capturing everything without ever making it feel like we were being photographed. She has that rare ability to be present without being intrusive, which meant our guests could simply relax, enjoy themselves, and be themselves. And the photos? Incredible. Kendra didn’t just take pictures of the event; she captured its feeling. The energy, the laughter, the little interactions between people, the beautiful moments between the bride and groom-to-be, and all of the details that made that evening special. Looking through the photos brings the evening back to life. That is what makes Kendra both a true professional and a true artist. She has an exceptional eye, but just as importantly, she knows how to read a vibe and anticipate the moments worth capturing. She was able to photograph a lively, moving event in two very different settings and somehow make it all feel effortless. We will treasure that night forever, and the moments Kendra captured of our family, friends, and the bride and groom-to-be will be keepsakes of the beginning of a wonderful wedding weekend.
