Summer St Films
Summer St Films is a Boston-based wedding photography and videography studio rooted in a cinematic documentary approach. We focus on real moments as they naturally unfold — the quiet anticipation, the in-between glances, the subtle gestures that often go unnoticed. Our work is less about directing and more about observing, allowing space for the day to move honestly. The goal is simple: to create images and films that feel timeless, atmospheric, and true to how it actually felt to be there.
With over 200 weddings documented, experience has taught us to slow down and pay attention. We don’t chase trends or overstage moments. Instead, we look for light, movement, and emotion as they naturally exist. What sets us apart is restraint — knowing when to step in and when to step back. We create work meant to last beyond the present, so that decades from now, when you sit down to look through your photos or press play, you can still recognize the room, the laughter, and every familiar smile.

The dreamiest photos ever!
My husband and I worked with Cassie at Summer St for our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn’t be happier with the results! I love the thoughtful and creative approach they take towards their photography. They ask not only for typical inspiration for your pictures, but also images and other media that look or feel how you want your day to look in the photos. We were able to share a lot of beautiful art references, along with traditional wedding picture references that Cassie used to capture our day. Cassie made us feel comfortable even though we’re both very awkward in front of a camera and we had so much fun taking our wedding portraits. There were a few “trust the process” moments, where Cassie took the reins and had us do things like run and dance in the park— but the shots came out absolutely STUNNING. She has a true vision so definitely let her do her thing!!!

Weifan and his team went above and beyond for our wedding. He provided stunning photos that captured the essence of the day in a very artistic way. He was invested in our relationship and took the time to get to know us as a couple. Summer St was communicative, responsive, and reliable. Absolutely in love with our photos

Wonderful Experience
We had a wonderful experience with our photographer Cassie. She arrived exactly on time and was very patient and responsive throughout the whole communication process. During the shoot, her guidance was very professional and really helped us relax and get over our shyness. We were hoping for natural, cinematic-style photos, and she captured our interactions beautifully. There was a moment when my veil fell off as we were spinning, and she still managed to catch that spontaneous, lively moment perfectly. We’re very happy with the photos and highly recommend her.
