Hey, I’m Bren! I’m a photographer, artist, wife, and professional third wheel based in DFW. I’m probably going to get excited about your wedding, ask you a million questions, and somehow end up talking about something completely unrelated before we’re done. I’ve always been a very “why not?” person. I like making things, trying new things, finding weird little places, and meeting people who are doing life their own way. I’m also a big believer that you don’t have to fit into a certain mold to be worth celebrating.

I genuinely love the art of photography. I love making something beautiful, intentional, weird, colorful, moody, editorial, whatever fits the people in front of my camera. But at the end of the day, you’re not there for the photos. The photos are there for you. Your wedding isn’t a styled session for my portfolio (though we can certainly set a portrait session). It’s your life, your people, your memories, and your story. I want the photos to feel like they belong to you, while still feeling like a piece of art you’ll actually want to keep.

Description

For the intentionally small wedding, courthouse moment, or “we really just want to get married” kind of day. Two hours gives us enough time to focus on your ceremony, portraits, your people, and all the little moments without turning the whole thing into a photoshoot. Small doesn’t mean less meaningful, and I want your gallery to feel like a full reflection of the day you actually had.

Four hours for the parts of your wedding you really want documented, whether that’s a micro wedding, a ceremony and reception, or a little bit of both. We’ll make room for the important moments, the people you love, plenty of portraits, and all the stuff that happens in between. Enough coverage to tell the story without having me follow you around for twelve hours.

Six hours of coverage for couples who want a little more of the day documented without committing to full-day coverage. This gives us room for getting ready, the ceremony, portraits, the people you love, and the reception without having to rush through everything. It’s a solid middle ground for a wedding that has more going on but doesn’t need eight hours of coverage.

Description

Eight hours for the couples who want the whole story, or at least most of it. We can cover getting ready, the ceremony, wedding portraits, the reception, and all the little moments that happen when nobody is paying attention. There’s more room to breathe, more time with your people, and a secondary shooter (4 hours) for additional full coverage.

    Bren was the best photographer I have ever worked with. Personable, professional, great communication and so patient and kind. I was so blessed to have a lesbian photographer for our wedding. It's not often that a masc can say they feel beautiful but I certainly could. Our photos are the talk of the town and will forever hold a special place in our heart! Can't wait to work with her again!

    Bren did my pre-wedding event and wedding day, and I could not ask for someone better to be so professional and dedicated to capturing the heart in our events! She was amazing at helping us pose, making us feel at ease when we’re not big on photoshoots. She’s also amazing at using color in South Asian weddings and made the pictures so beautiful! Could not recommend more

    She’s amazing and truly knows how to capture beauty. Sometimes brown skin can be washed out and photos come out odd HOWEVER she did an amazing job with editing. She made us feel so comfortable & was very relatable. Brown skin girl approved. 💙

    Bren is phenomenal! I immediately felt comfortable with her! Not only did she take the most beautiful engagement photos EVER but she also helped me plan every step of the surprise proposal! Last minute when the proposal spot wasn’t available at the venue, she made it work without giving away anything. My now fiancé had NO CLUE what was happening. It was the most special day of our lives and I literally couldn’t have done it without Bren and I couldn’t be more amazed by her pictures!

Typically, couples book me about 8-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more second photographers depending on the size of your wedding. This is something that can be discussed during consultation.
In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my trusted associate shooters who's work can be viewed on my website as they are also my go-to second shooters.
You can expect about 40 to 60 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Absolutely. The Bren Tyler Collective is queer-owned and LGBTQ+ couples are not a niche, trend, or checkbox here.
Keep the traditions you love, skip the ones you don’t, make up your own, wear something weird, get married at the courthouse, have 200 people, have 12. I’m not attached to what a wedding is “supposed” to look like!
Yes! I love photographing traditions that are important to my couples and their families. If there are cultural or religious parts of your day I should know about, tell me everything. I’d rather learn than assume.
Inquire here, on socials or via my website, and once we've had our consultation, and you’re ready, I’ll send over your contract and invoice. Your date is officially yours once the contract is signed and your retainer is paid.
