    Siouxzen and Chris captured my wedding, and I cannot emphasize enough how incredible they were.     Cannot recommend The Dream Choice MORE!

    The Dream Choice really IS a dream choice!! Finding a photographer for our wedding was something that seemed so overwhelming to us. But Siouxzen couldn't have been better. She and her husband were so kind, fun, down to earth, and very talented. On the day of, having people like that around you the entire day (because they will be around you the whollllle time) was such a gift. Our venue was all outdoors, so finding someone to capture the greenery was very important to me and from the very initial FaceTime meeting we had, Siouxzen reassured me that was something she was down for. And she killed it! The pictures came back full of color, love and really captured the essence of our day. Her turn around was incredible - we got our pictures back so quickly. And we got a ton back! She listened to what I want, and captured all the moments perfectly. We were really into getting sunset pictures at our venue and she made sure we took the time to get a ton of different types of sunset pictures. She was good at getting us to try things, some things that worked much better than I would have imagined! We are definitly not "in front of the camera" people, so this was huge to get us out of our comfort zone for some really fun pictures. So, if you want someone who is priced well for the incredible quality, fun, talented, dedicated, trustworthy, quick, and kind - I cannot recommend The Dream Choice more!!

    The only team I would hire for my day

    I have been fortunate enough to know Sioux for many years. I have referred her on my best friends weddings and would use her on my own in a heart beat when that day comes. Her entire team is not only incredibly skilled but she has a way of setting you at ease in front of her camera and capturing everyone's best selves. My brides are never more content then when they have hired this team. They are always dressed impeccably for the occasion as well and fit in and flow with every vendor and guest. I cannot day enough good things!

I currently reside in Echo Park of Los Angeles with my husband and dog, Penny. And HECK YAH I absolutely travel. Traveling and adventuring is something my husband and I love doing, so wherever you are, there WE are!
For my engagement and couples session, I like to get at least 3-4 looks in within the hour session. With the final delivery, you get at least 50+ images per outfit to choose from. For my weddings, I like to estimate at least 100+ images per hour. Definitely a lot more delivered when you hire a second shooter with me.
I do NOT release unedited work ever unless you pay to have exclusive rights in perpetuity. My editing is a HUGE part of my art. It's half of the end result I deliver. I promise to deliver all the photos you want, and if my editing isn't something you resonate with, I will be more than happy to re-edit until we find the perfect look.
I require a 50% non-refundable retainer at time of booking and signing the contract to secure your date. The remainder is due 30 days before your wedding or elopement. I usually split up the payments in 3-4 payment plan.
I usually shoot the photography portion by myself and my husband as the videographer. This makes it easy for us to work together as we both know each other very well. Otherwise, if you'd like to hire a 2nd shooter, my husband will be my second unless he is shooting video and in that case I have a rotating bank of wonderful assistants I can call upon.
Yes! We do offer video services. Right now, we are concentrating on old analog Super 8mm wedding films. This is shot entirely on film camera that then gets sent to a lab to get processed and developed to give you this beautiful nostalgic timeless capture of your wedding day.
I do have insurance and can give you and your venue a certification of liability insurance should your venue requires.
I like to give a next day sneak peek of about 5-10 pictures. After that, your images will take anywhere from 8-10 weeks depending on the previous workload I may have in the que. I'm always usually hoping to get your entire gallery up and ready for delivery by your first month's anniversary.
For this to even be an issue, I would have to be either in the hospital or having a family emergency/death. I value my couples and their big day so much, and heaven forbid if something out of my control came up that prevented me from being at your wedding, I will personally find you a replacement day of photographer whom I completely trust and whose work you love.
