    MUST DO - we loved the video

    My sister had decided against a videographer for her wedding. She never liked the traditional style of wedding photos and videos, and it was also not something she wanted to put budget towards. I had a feeling she might later wish she had a video of the memories with our friends and relatives, especially the older ones, so I bought Handheld Studios for her as a gift. Her wedding was during the Nor'easter of '26, on a barrier island - so needless to say, many things went "wrong" with people unable to make it, vendors canceling, and a venue underwater. But it turned out to be the best party any of us had ever been to. Having both the footage from that week of all the ups and downs, and the highlight reel showing the love and FUN in the room that night, is something we will treasure forever. The highlight perfectly captured it. They pieced together messy footage and made a masterpiece that was just my sister's style. Book it!

    the Best keepsake!!

    Handheld Studio found me by way of Instagram ad soon after my engagement last year. They had just launched and Im so happy I took the leap!! This process was seemless, I placed my order a year in advance with the hope that they would deliver, and to my fortune - they absolutely did. Several weeks ahead, I receieved communication about the impending arrival of my camera renal and what to expect! It arrived on time, with clear instructions. After our event, I packaged it up and shipped it off with the provided label. Super easy! I received a form to input desired music if I had a preference, and within a few weeks, I got back a beautifully edited highlight video, as well as segmented footage of our wedding and reception. I couldn't have thanked this team enough, best ever!

    HANDHELD VIDEOGRAPHER 4 LYFE

    This was the best decision we could have made when it came to capturing our wedding. No one looks at their wedding video PLUS it’s crazy expensive. Our camcorders were sought after all weekend. People couldn’t wait to get their hands on it. It was the activation we didn’t know we needed. It brought our guests together in ways we didn’t know it could.     The Most Fun and Unique Video Footage

    We hired Handheld Studio to capture our wedding day and couldn't be happier with the experience. What really set them apart was how quickly everything arrived—they actually beat their own deadline.     DO IT!!!

    Rented the camcorders on a whim and ended up with content I’m gonna cherish and watch and cry and laugh at for the rest of my life!! Truly an amazing small business idea. Rent them, return them, and get all the content sorted (with the best highlight reel) within 2 weeks.

Reserve your Camcorder online and it arrives ready to record with everything you need! You film your celebration, then pack it back in the box and return it using the prepaid UPS label. Once we receive your camcorder, we download the footage, create your highlight video and share all of your raw footage to keep! It is an easy process designed to help you capture your day with personality and zero stress.
Simply choose your date and reserve your camcorder on our website. Your rental includes everything you need, plus a quick guide to get started! We recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance to confirm your date.
Yes! Each camcorder arrives ready to record. Just turn it on, press play and start capturing your celebration. No setup or special tech skills needed :)
You will receive the Camcorder, charger, extra battery, protective foam, a prepaid return label and a simple how to guide.
Within two weeks of us receiving the camera back, you will receive an email with a download link to access your complete raw footage (minus accidental recordings, blank space, unintentional camera movements, etc) and professionally edited recap.
Yes! The Camcorders capture both video and audio.
Your rental fee covers minor wear and tear. If the camera is lost, severely damaged, or stolen, you'll be responsible for the additional fee. A refundable security deposit is collected at checkout and returned once everything is received in good condition. See our Rental Agreement and Terms & Service for more details.
Our cameras come with a 32GB memory card, allowing you to record over 12 hours of video. That's plenty of space to capture every candid moment of your event. A standard camera rental period is for one event day.
