    Day of Coordination is a Must

    It was so nice to have day of coordination so we didn’t have to worry about setting up/taking down decorations or overall logistics for the day. The cost was reasonable and well worth it. We had the option to rent items which was helpful since we were traveling from out of state. We worked with David leading up to the wedding. He was easy to work with. I enjoyed using the Coda program he had in place because it kept everyone on the same page and organized, but I feel like some things still got overlooked. Candy led our wedding rehearsal and helped during the day of our wedding. She was absolutely fantastic! Everything was set up exactly as discussed and she handled everything with no questions asked. We didn’t use a videographer so she took a video of the ceremony speech for us. It meant so much to have that and look back on! I was a little disappointed after she left for the evening though. Two other coordinators were left in charge and they didn’t really seem to know what was going on. We had a photobooth being brought in and the man came up to me asking questions about where to set up. The coordinators were nowhere to be found. I had to knock on the door to have them find the map layout, but they couldn’t find it. We had delegated my mother as the go to person if there were questions yet one of the coordinators still came up to me asking a question later which I thought was inappropriate. The cherry on top was the decor being put away incorrectly. There was a missing candle and we had bought a portable podium stand that was not broken down and put back in the box. Overall, decent service. If you use certain venues, they have 1928 built in so maybe see if you can request certain coordinators. I would definitely recommend day of wedding coordination services so there is less to worry about on your special day.

    Highly recommend!

    I truly cannot say enough good things about 1928 Planning Co. They were with us every step of the way throughout our wedding planning process, and I honestly don’t know how we would’ve done it without them. From full-scale planning to day-of coordination, timeline creation, vendor communication, and even helping fine-tune décor details, they handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and an incredible eye for detail. The team was always responsive, organized, and genuinely cared about making our day stress-free and exactly how we envisioned it. On the day of the wedding, they made everything run seamlessly — we didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. I would recommend 1928 Planning Co. to absolutely anyone planning a wedding or event. They’re beyond worth it, and we’re so grateful we had them on our team.
