Honorary Bridesmaid is a wedding planning company that was created for the couple that needs a helping hand from start to finish, partial planning, day of coordination, or finding the perfect attire. What started as a passion for learning about all things bridal transformed into a planning business that allows a couple to feel relaxed and stress free for their big day. Honorary Bridesmaid takes pride in finding affordable ways of making a vision come to life by using local vendors, DIY'ing if needed, and will be the person to ask for any help.
Honorary Bridesmaid stands out from other planners by creating a more intimate planning experience. Being the owner and sole planner for Honorary Bridesmaid it allows me to be a part of every part of the planning process. One of the ways Honorary Bridesmaid makes sure your event is important is by only taking on two weddings a month. This allows the time and importance of your event to take priority above anything else. I've also created a unique shopping experience for bridal attire to ensure each part of the wedding preparation is an experience you'll never forget. A MUST !
Kim at Honorary Bridesmaid is the sole reason that one of the main words used to describe our wedding day was “carefree.” Having Kim in our corner not only allowed us to enjoy EVERY second of our day, but gave us such a sense of peace knowing that everything was in the best of hands. We had complete faith and confidence in her to get us to the finish line, which allowed us to do the one thing every couple hopes to do on their wedding day - be fully present and soak in every little moment. We hired Kim as our day-of coordinator, and let me tell you, she stepped in and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She was truly like the older sister everyone needs on their wedding day, keeping everyone in check, making sure we always had a drink in our hands, and handling anything and everything behind the scenes so seamlessly that we never even knew if something went wrong. I genuinely cannot imagine our wedding day without her guidance, reassurance, and the absolute CALM she brought to what could have easily been a chaotic day. Best Coordinator I Could’ve Asked For!
I knew from our first phone call that Kimberly had the right personality to help me manage the stress of wedding planning/our wedding day. She’s detail oriented yet calming, paired well with every member of my family, and fit so naturally with our bridal party—I would’ve been honored to have her as a bridesmaid. She thinks of all of the little things I didn’t think of AND told me when I didn’t need to worry about something (which is really refreshing with wedding planning). Everyone should hire her.

Above and beyond
From day one, Kim made me feel at ease. She's warm and professional, and I knew that hiring her as my day-of coordinator was the right choice. She went above and beyond--helping plan my timeline, coordinating directly with my venue and other vendors, and communicating and checking in with me along the way. The day of my wedding, she was a calm and prepared l presence. She kept everything moving and organized. She made sure I had an enjoyable and memorable day with my husband and guests, while seamlessly absorbing details and stress throughout the day. She even snapped some photos (see below!), figured out the clasps on my dress, found floss when I needed it, and overall helped me feel like a special bride. I can't say enough how glad I was to have her by my side. I highly recommend her!!

From our first conversation, we knew Kim from Honorary Bridesmaid was the right choice to plan our wedding.
