Unprofessional, terrible communication
honestly never thought I would have to write a review like this, but after our experience with Tiffany Baldwin, I feel it is important to share what happened so other couples can make an informed decision. We hired Tiffany because she told us she had 10 years of experience in the wedding business. We trusted her, paid 2,100 in advance, and hired her for 30 days because we believed she would take the stress out of planning and allow us to enjoy our wedding day. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Communication was one of our biggest concerns. During the 30 days leading up to our wedding, we emailed and texted Tiffany and often did not receive the assistance we needed. Five days before the wedding, I asked her to contact a vendor and was told, “I will get to it when I have time.” Four days before the wedding, we were told we needed an assistant. Two days before the wedding, she had another event and told us to text her because she was busy. We also had concerns about communication with our wedding party. One of my bridesmaids said Tiffany told her she did not care about the order of the wedding and that arranging and managing the wedding was her job. My bridesmaid also felt Tiffany did not take the time to learn their names or introduce herself. There were also unexpected fee concerns. During our first walkthrough, Tiffany said she would provide pillows for our sweetheart table, but no price was discussed. Three days before the wedding, we were told they would cost 15 each. The amount was not the issue; we felt additional charges should have been communicated when the item was first discussed. The wedding day itself was extremely stressful. Our vendors were given the wrong address, causing several to arrive at 11:00 AM instead of 12:00 PM. Tiffany told us she had contacted the vendors, but they still had incorrect information. Vendors also told us they tried to contact Tiffany but could not reach her. As a result, vendors contacted me and the groom directly to get the correct address and resolve issues we believed our coordinator should have handled. We were also upset when Tiffany told a vendor that we had only paid her for “day-of coordination,” even though we had hired her for 30 days and paid 2,100 well in advance. There was also confusion about her hours. The day before the wedding, Tiffany told us she was only being paid for eight hours and would leave at 8:00 PM. Our venue was open from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, which had been discussed during our walkthrough. About four days before the wedding, we were told that keeping her for the entire event would cost an additional 250. We felt this should have been communicated much earlier. After the wedding, a vendor told us they witnessed Tiffany break one of our wedding signs and say, “That is it, I quit.” We understand accidents happen, but this was never disclosed to us; we only learned about it afterward from the vendor. Several vendors also independently contacted us after the wedding to share negative experiences regarding their interactions with Tiffany, which added to our concerns about professionalism and communication. We hired a coordinator to communicate with vendors, manage the timeline, handle problems, and allow us to enjoy our wedding. Instead, we often felt like we were handling those problems ourselves.

Disappointing experience as a wedding guest
The wedding felt very disorganized, and the coordinator, Tiffany, seemed overwhelmed and dismissive throughout the event. There were several moments where things clearly weren’t running smoothly, including an interaction with the groom’s mother that came across as particularly rude. As a guest, it was noticeable that the coordination contributed to the chaos. I would encourage couples to ask plenty of questions about day-of coordination before booking.

All Star
Tiffany went way beyond what we expected of a wedding planner. She has a sharp attention to detail, logistics, communications, and makes the whole experience much less stressful and way more fun! She is amazing and took care of so many things I didn’t realize until after the fact. She is also an unbelievably caring person. She checked in on me when she noticed I wasn’t eating or drinking and made sure to send me bites and drinks. She instantly clicked with the other vendors and became a dream team. That synergy brought the whole wedding to another level. She was ontop of the fireworks starting and cued the DJ to gather our guests to the balcony and had everyone impressed! Jaws were dropped. Somehow she’s had a hand in the background everywhere at once making everything come together. I can’t imagine what our wedding would’ve been like without her. Everyone was saying the coordination was unbelievable and the best bedding they have ever been to. From the bottom of our hearts thank you Baldwin Bridal for the dream cloud 9 wedding

Top-Tier Planner
I had the pleasure of working with Tiffany as the photographer at a wedding she planned at The Pearl Hotel in Point Loma. Tiffany was incredibly attentive to everyone’s needs, ensuring everything ran smoothly and on time. Her professionalism and courteous demeanor put the couple at ease, making them feel completely comfortable on their big day. She was in charge of every detail, and her meticulous planning ensured the day went off without a hitch. If you’re looking for a planner who combines professionalism with a personal touch, Tiffany is an excellent choice!
