We cannot recommend Katy and Coastal Coordinating enough! Looking back, I am SO glad we found them. They played such a huge role in making our wedding everything we dreamed of, and I truly don’t know how we could have done it without them. We opted for month-of coordination, which really kicked off about two months before the wedding, and Katy was amazing every step of the way. We had some vendors selected already but for the few we had remaining, her team provided preferred vendors that really helped narrow down the search. Katy was incredible with communication, providing checklists and keeping us on track while always making us feel comfortable reaching out with any questions. As we got closer to the wedding, she took over vendor communication, finalized timeline details, coordinated insurance requirements, and handled all the little things that can easily fall through the cracks. As a pretty Type A person, I needed someone I could trust to bring my vision to life, especially with all the DIY details I put together. Katy created an easy-to-follow timeline for the weekend and helped with some of the last minute creative details as well. I went into our wedding feeling completely confident that she and her team understood my vision and had everything under control. On the wedding day, Katy and her team were incredible. They coordinated all our vendors, kept everything on schedule, and handled every detail seamlessly. Seeing our ceremony and reception spaces come to life was amazing, and knowing the team handled everything behind the scenes allowed us to enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. Katy and her team were also so reassuring and easy to communicate with throughout the process. From our rehearsal to checking on us while we were getting ready, she made us feel taken care of every step of the way. Because of her and her team, I was able to completely unplug from the planning and hosting responsibilities and truly enjoy being the bride. Hiring Coastal Coordinating was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Katy brought my vision to life even better than I could have imagined, and I am so grateful for everything she and her team did. If you’re considering them, BOOK THEM! I truly cannot imagine having anyone else coordinate our wedding. Thank you, Katy, for helping make our day so special!

Amazing wedding day-of coordinator
Working with Coastal Coordinating was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Melanie stepped in seamlessly as we got closer to the big day, taking over vendor communication and handling all the logistics with clear timelines and consistent updates. She managed so many details behind the scenes that we never would have thought to handle ourselves, which made our wedding day feel smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was how proactive she was. She was always thinking ahead and taking care of things before we even realized they needed attention. Her organized approach and thoughtful planning transformed what could have been overwhelming into an event full of joy. We would definitely recommend Coastal Coordinating.

Working with Coastal Coordinating made our wedding planning so much easier than we expected. From our first conversation, Katy responded quickly to every question and email, which gave us peace of mind throughout the whole process. She has serious expertise and really knew how to handle all the details without us having to stress about it. On our wedding day, everything ran smoothly because she had thought through every moment in advance. We felt supported from start to finish and the value we got for what we paid was outstanding. A NEED, not a want!
My wedding would not be what it was if it was not for KATY & the coastal coordinating staff. Katy was simply made for this role. She is professional, timely and communicative. Additionally, she makes you FEEL like you are the only bride she is working with, which makes you feel at peace, prioritized, and cared for throughout chaotic wedding planning! Katy doesn't miss a step during timeline creation, last minute changes, or day of the event. In fact, during the day of my wedding, I sent most of my family out of the "hiding room" and felt comfortable when she was in the room because she was alongside me during the wedding planning process and made me feel a sense of ease. THAT is the type of wedding planner you want, especially if the whole "planning process" isn't your thing (like me ;)). Lastly, Katy handled vendor communication incredibly well. From reaching out, to follow ups, to ensuring all vendors were on the same page (especially if they did not respond) which took a layer off of my responsibilities. Okay actually lastly - Katy does not see this role or you as a bride as her "job" or just another "client". When I mentioned I was "stressed", she sat with me on the phone to talk things through to see what holes she could fill so I could relax. Coastal Coordinating is without a doubt, the wedding planning service you NEED!! I have already referred her to my friends and will continue to do so!
