Hello nearlyweds! I'm Margarita, yes just like the tasty tropical drink. :) I love weddings and I always have. I have cried at all the ones I have attended, and my friends tease me because I will ask anyone who has me over to show me their wedding album! I have spent the past few years working for Wedgewood Weddings and learning everything there is to know about weddings and events. I have helped plan over 200 weddings and personally coordinated more than 125+ weddings with guest counts ranging from 20-250+. Prior to that I worked in tech account management, which gave me the experience to provide you with top tier customer service.

I excel in written and verbal communication, and I'm always on top of the details. When I say I will get you something, you can be certain there will be follow through. My pro wedding tip is to have an activity for your guests instead of spending money on favors that get left behind (unless they're edible!). Recent favorite activities have been hiring an artist to do watercolor portraits of guests, a fortune teller that read palms, and a cigar rolling station! I would love to work with you to bring your wedding vision to life and take care of all the details for you, so you can feel like a guest at your own wedding. Let's get started!

Description

Package includes everything in the Day-of coordination package plus vendor communication in the months leading up to the event and creation of a custom floor plan. Service starts 60 days out. 90 day package also available starting at $3,000.

We start with an in-depth call to discuss the details of your wedding. Then I will review all of your vendor contracts and create a custom Wedding Day Timeline that serves as the playbook for your event. I share it with your vendors before the wedding and manage them day-of. Package also includes virtual check-ins, a venue walkthrough, rehearsal management, and up to 10 hours of in-person support day-of. Service starts 21 days out.

    Best decision!!!

    Hiring Margarita was the best decision I made when wedding planning! From the day she took over coordinating, I was instantly able to relax and knew everything was going to be fine. One of the first things she did was use her contacts to ensure that the spot for our first look would be available - which I really appreciated. I had the most relaxing morning of my wedding because she was there and I didn’t have to think about much else. She even pinned all the bouts on the guys! The rest of the wedding was executed flawlessly. Having her there allowed me and my husband to truly be “guests of honor” at our own wedding and to enjoy to moment.

    Margarita is phenomenal!!

    Margarita is phenomenal, we would recommend her to anyone! The best money we spent for our wedding was hiring her. We worked with her as our month-of coordinator. She made sure we felt prepared and at peace about all the logistics beforehand: handling vendor communication, clarifying remaining logistical action items, catching and fixing vendor issues before we even knew anything was amiss, and coming up with a realistic run-of-show timeline. Throughout the process, she was so detail-oriented, efficient, and on top of things. Beyond that, she’s so friendly, kind, fun, and calm, which made us feel more confident and assured during planning. She was just as excellent and adaptive on the day of. She fixed setup details that got missed, adjusted our schedule so elderly family members who arrived late to the reception didn’t miss anything, and carved out one-on-one time for my husband and me to take in the beauty of the day. She made us plates of food so we didn’t have to wait in the buffet line, brought us the champagne we’d forgotten for our toast, and knew all our special people well enough to track them down whenever needed. Her attention to detail allowed us to be fully present at the wedding, and she made some of the details even more special. I'm so so thankful for her - she was a lifesaver for our peace of mind and for how smoothly everything went! It really helped us enjoy the day to its full potential. She's also just such a joy to work with! Would recommend her to anyone!

    Loved working with Margarita!

    Margarita was exceptional from the start of our planning process together all the way through the wedding day. Before working with her, it was genuinely hard to picture how everything was going to come together, and she made that uncertainty go away quickly. She kept the whole process organized, handled vendor coordination, and made sure everything was set going into the day. One thing that really stood out was how well she remembered all of the small requests we had along the way, I found that level of attention to detail to be really impressive. The wedding itself went perfectly. She was attentive and caring throughout, and it really did feel like we could let go and just enjoy the day rather than manage it. I'd strongly recommend her to anyone getting married!

    Margarita was an incredible month-of coordinator!!

    Bringing on Margarita as our month-of-coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We were initially nervous about only having a month-of coordinator for our wedding. While our wedding was *fairly* standard, there were a handful of things where we had a very specific vision that we wanted to get just right. We matched with Margarita (via Mostest), and from the very first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. She immediately took the reins, being incredibly proactive about thoroughly capturing details, putting together a timeline, and getting in touch with vendors (that were sometimes hard to get hold of :) ). As we approached the day, she kept us CCed on everything that was going on while keeping the set of decisions we had to make as focused as possible. On our wedding day, she truly worked magic. Her timeline was flawless - it was resilient, perfectly paced, and allowed us to actually enjoy our dream day without a single worry. When curveballs popped up, like tricky wind and floral mix-ups, she handled them seamlessly behind the scenes before we even knew they were issues. Margarita is the reason our wedding went exactly to plan, and best of all, that we were actually able to enjoy it! And to top it all off, she is a truly wonderful, wonderful person to work with. We would 100% recommend her to any couple looking to get married in the Bay Area!

    Hiring Margarita was the best decision we made!!

    Hiring Margarita as our coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!! Right off the bat, she was meticulously organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our day was everything we hoped it would be. In the weeks leading up to and on the actual wedding day, Margarita was absolutely incredible!! She managed every detail behind the scenes so seamlessly that we never had to think about the timeline, logistics, or whether vendors were where they needed to be. She kept everything running smoothly, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Beyond being an exceptional coordinator, she's genuinely a lovely person. She dedicates so much time to her couples that we were absolutely mind-blown that she could possibly be juggling other weddings on top of ours. We are so grateful for everything Margarita did to make our wedding day so special. If you're looking for someone who will truly advocate for you, keep you calm under pressure, and make your wedding day feel effortless, we cannot recommend her highly enough!!!

I am the lead planner and day-of support for all weddings. If you add an assistant to your package, you can rest assured they are experienced and reliable. I have worked with them on many, many events!

No. I like to focus on only one event per weekend to focus my attention on your rehearsal and wedding day!
Yes. I carry up to $2M in liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) if your venue requests it.
Yes! I grew up speaking Spanish with my parents. I love being able to communicate with wedding guests who feel more comfortable communicating in Spanish. Speaking Spanish is also immensely helpful as a wedding planner because many vendors, catering staff, delivery persons etc in the Bay Area are Spanish speakers and being able to communicate with them effectively is essential for a smooth event.
It depends on the wedding! Adding an assistant coordinator to your package is required for events with 2 venues, over 200 guest count, or extensive DIY decor. The price to add an assistant is $500.
