I moved to the Aurora / Naperville area in 2016 from Los Angeles, California. While living in L.A. for 17 years, I organized and managed events for countless affairs on behalf of the biggest names in the industry. I made the move back to the Midwest to get closer to my roots, be near loved ones and to start my own business doing what I truly love and excel in – making a bride’s dream a reality.

I consider myself an exceptionally organized, detail-oriented professional who works well with others. I act as an advocate for my clients to ensure all expectations are met and there are no surprises. It is my hope that clients can relax and enjoy the entire wedding planning journey.

Description	Our team takes a very hands on approach for our full package clients. From building your budget, to finding your venue, vendors, decor and theme, timelines, accommodations, etc., we offer guidance on all major decisions and all the little ones in between. We believe that every detail contributes to executing the perfect event and because of this, we only book one wedding a weekend, so that our couples are our only priority.	Our Partial planning package is very similar to our Full-service planning package, except our clients already have a venue and date secured. We help with finding the best vendors for your wedding, along with creating a design, decor and theme for your wedding and everything in between! This package also includes complete timeline creation and running your wedding rehearsal.

best planner ever!!!
If you are looking for a wedding planner, you have found it. The single best thing I did for my wedding was hire Amy and HEA events to plan it. I just got married at the Adler Planetarium this weekend, and Amy & HEA events is the reason it happened. When I began my wedding planning process, I knew immediately I would need a planner. I was going to have a large 200 person wedding, and I knew I wanted it to be a grand event. I talked with over 10 different planners, and could not find anyone that felt "right", until I talked to Amy. From the minute we talked on the phone, I knew she was the best planner. She was sweet, yet honest, organized, and had a very impressive history of planned weddings. As a very "type A" bride, I was worried that no one would take my wedding as seriously as I did, and I was so wrong. I ALWAYS felt like Amy made my wedding a priority. In the two years leading up to my wedding, she reached out to all vendors, compared pricing, read through every contract, told me where to spend my money and what was a waste. She problem solved the smallest of things that only I noticed/ cared about, and never made me feel like something was silly or too over the top. She sat through every vendor meeting with me, took notes on everything that was said, and remembered every detail that I couldn't keep track of! She came to my tasting and gave her expert opinion on which foods to go with and why. She sent payment reminders, communicated with vendors constantly, helped me make decisions when I just couldn't make any more. However, the real testament of not only Amy's work, but also her character, came on the wedding weekend. During the rehearsal, Amy came with print outs for the entire party and family that clearly explained the timeline of the weekend. She ran the rehearsal so seamlessly. With the weather constantly changing, we had a day- of backup plan, but hoped we wouldn't need it. Then, on the wedding day, before an entirely outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, we had a very difficult and stressful hour before the ceremony. As the rain continued to pour, Amy did everything in her power to reassure me and calm me down. I never felt any type of stress or concern from her. She was always calm and collected, and did everything in her power to make my wedding happen the way we had planned it. The weather cleared with just a few minutes to spare, and SOMEHOW, Amy and her team pulled off what was nothing short of a wedding day miracle, and we were able to still have the ceremony outside (and on time, might I add!!). Throughout the wedding night, Amy made sure to deal with any issue, handle difficult extended family members, and ensure that the night went off without a hitch. I can sincerely say that without Amy, my wedding would not have been everything I wanted it to be and more. I am going to miss getting to work with Amy every day. With Amy, you're not just getting an exceptional planner with years of experience and unmatched expertise that she brings to the table. You're also getting a friend, an older sister to tell you what to do, someone you can rely on when the stress of a wedding feels too great, and a metaphorical (and sometimes literal) bodyguard/ protector to shield you from vendors, crazy family members, and emotional distress LOL. Do yourself the biggest favor, and hire Amy & HEA events for your wedding or event.

Day-Of Coordinator- THE BEST!
My husband and I hired Amy as a day-of coordinator for our wedding and we could not recommend her more! After our wedding day, we had several couples come up to us asking for her name to use when their wedding day comes. When we first started working with Amy, it was clear that she was extremely knowledgable about weddings and gave amazing tips and recommendations to make the day go smoothly. Her timeline she made for our wedding put me at ease for the big day. As a bride, one of the things that I was most nervous about was having a day-of coordinator whose personality blended with the wedding day. I'd been in weddings with a coordinator that was too "drill sergeant-esque" or too passive and things didn't happen on time. Amy has the loveliest personality and was absolutely perfect!! She had the best balance of type-A/felt-like-everything-was-in-control energy while also having a warmth and kindness to her that made me feel comforted throughout the day and planning. Thank you, Amy, for everything!

Amy is amazing!
Amy was a phenomenal wedding planner throughout our entire process! We were one of the couples impacted by Covid, and Amy remained with us throughout the entire time and ensured that our wedding day happened just the way we envisioned. We trusted Amy fully throughout the entire time we spent with her, and her attention to detail was unparalleled. She took feedback extremely well, and really listened to our vision and worked with us to achieve our goals while remaining within our budget. She worked extremely well with our vendors, and ensured we were getting the best quality while managing our costs. During the day of our wedding, with curveballs being thrown her way left and right, she managed to ensure we remained on schedule! Our wedding day would not have been what it was without Amy’s hard work, dedication and professionalism. Amy is truly in a class of her own! We highly recommend Amy as a planner for any couple!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Amy!! She helped us plan our dream wedding, and it truly would not have been possible without her. She always communicated with us quickly and answered every question we had. She was always on top of everything and took the worries away from us as bride and groom the day of. Awww! Love you guys too! Your wedding was stunning - even attracting a few wedding crashers, which I was happy to escort out. ;) You both knew what you wanted, but when you didn't, we figured it out together. Knowledgeable and Professional
Happily Ever After by Amy was the perfect wedding planning partner for our special day. From the beginning, Amy was efficient, timely, and clear, leaving nothing to question so we had confidence through the entire process. Her work was truly top-notch - She was incredibly knowledgeable about the local vendors, connected us with the best options to fit our vision and budget, and left no detail overlooked. My partner and I live in Minnesota but we had our wedding in Chicago, so it was really important to have someone who knew the local industry very well. We visited Chicago just twice for planning and Amy handled everything else, including the tasting! She seamlessly managed all the vendors, coordination, and onsite management so that our wedding day went off without a hitch.
