Hi there, I’m Olivia, the face behind Afterglow Weddings and Events! With over five years of experience in the wedding industry, including catering and venue sales, I've been part of more than 100 love stories. My journey in the Chicago wedding industry has included time as a venue coordinator, catering sales manager and event coordinator. My favorite part about working in the industry is working with couples to help their wedding dreams come to life. At Afterglow Weddings and Events, I'm dedicated to bringing your dreams to life and ensuring every detail reflects your unique love story.
Having been in the Chicago wedding industry for over 6 years I have a wide range of experience working in catering, venues and private planning. I wanted to use my expertise to help all couples bring their dream wedding to life!

Stress-free wedding coordination
Olivia and Abby were incredible for our day-of wedding coordination! We were an out-of-town couple trying to plan a wedding in Chicago. We met with Olivia a handful of times leading up to our wedding day. She handled communication with all our vendors to ensure everyone agreed to the wedding timeline, organized meetings with vendors when needed, and helped ensure the day went on without a hitch. Olivia was also such a calm presence during the high-stress planning process, and Abby brought such a good energy on the day. It made it 100 times easier to relax on the wedding day with their help! I was actually told by another vendor that it was one of the most on-time weddings she had worked on, which is 100% attributed to Olivia and Abby. We cannot recommend them enough.

Exceeded Expectations
Working with Camille at Afterglow Weddings and Events was a game-changer for our wedding planning. From our first conversation, we knew she was the right person to guide us through the process. She stayed organized and kept everything running smoothly, which meant we felt less stressed every time we talked with her. Olivia and her team is awesome!
We had such a wonderful experience working with our planner - Olivia! She was there to help us through the entire planning process and was always such a calm, positive presence. She had everything so well prepared and organized, which made the whole process feel much less stressful. On the wedding day, it was so nice knowing we had someone there who was prepared and ready to help things run smoothly. She brought such a good energy and was overall an amazing person to have by our side throughout such an important time. We’re so grateful for all of her help, guidance, and support throughout the entire process. Best decision!
Choosing Olivia the owner of Afterglow Weddings and Events as our wedding planner was the best decision we made! We were overwhelmed in the beginning stages of wedding planning. Upon our first inquiry Olivia was so clear on what services she provided and her cost was fair and so worth it! We had already set our budget, guest count, and booked our venue so we chose her partial planning option and from our first planning meeting I knew we made a good decision, it was like a weight being lifted. She uses a very easy platform to help keep everything organized with a thorough checklist that I started tackling immediately. We had regular meetings where she helped us choose all the rest of our vendors and we felt like we had a knowledgeable partner throughout the whole process. The day of Olivia and her team (Abby and Anna) really took care of us, kept me calm and kept all things running smoothly throughout the day. She is a very organized, positive, calm, and a genuinely sweet person and was the perfect fit for us. I highly recommend Olivia and Afterglow Weddings and Events to any couple who is searching for help with making your wedding day perfect!
