Outstanding!
The best advice I received when planning our wedding came from my sister-in-law. She said, “on the big day, you need someone who fixes any and all problems that come up, and more importantly, makes sure you never find out about them.” So we decided early on that we needed a day-of coordinator. And after one call with Marissa, we knew she and Honey Hollow were exactly what we needed. Marissa provided everything we needed, from that very first call all the way up until our wedding. She made sure that all the details were attended to, she kept everyone moving and on pace, and she even pinned up my wife’s dress immediately before our first dance so that I wouldn’t be tripping over her. At every turn, Marissa was there for us, ready to answer all questions we had, not afraid to bring up anything with the venue, and ensured that our special day went as well as it possibly could have. My wife and I both agreed that nothing went wrong, or at the very least, if it did, we didn’t find out about it! Thank you, Marissa! We can’t thank you enough!

You two were such a joy to work with, and getting to be part of all the little details that made your day yours was such a treat. And can we talk about your décor?! We absolutely LOVED it. From the adorable Lotería table numbers (how could we forget those?!) to your incredibly cute cartoon welcome sign, every detail was so thoughtful, fun, and completely you. It made the whole day feel so personal and full of personality. And those golden hour photos right on the river?! 😍 We are STILL in awe of them. That light, that view, the two of you… absolutely magical. It was one of those moments where you just had to stop and appreciate how beautiful the day was. We’re also so glad we could be that behind-the-scenes support you were looking for — taking care of the little things so you could simply enjoy being married and never have to wonder what was happening behind the scenes. And yes, that dress pinning right before the first dance will forever make us laugh. 😂 Thank you both for trusting us with such an important day and for letting us be part of it. Great day of coordination
We hired Honey Hollow Events to plan our wedding and are so glad we did. Their team was organized and knowledgeable from start to finish, which made the whole process feel stress-free. When a vendor issue came up, they took control of the situation and handled it without us having to worry, and that peace of mind was invaluable. There was a brief dip in communication during the middle of planning, but they really stepped up right before our wedding day and on the day itself. Everything ran smoothly because of their attention to detail and problem-solving skills. A moment of silence for one of the best coordinators any bride could ever hope to have. I reached out to Marissa in June 2025, a full year before our wedding, and from day one she became so much more than a coordinator. She was my sounding board, my cheerleader, my voice of reason, and my calm whenever wedding planning felt overwhelming. No matter how busy she was, she always made time for me. Every question, every meeting, every last-minute thought—I never once felt like a burden. One of the best decisions we made was adding her setup and tear-down package. Brides, if you’re considering it, DO IT. After your wedding, you will be exhausted. Your parents will be exhausted. The last thing anyone wants to do is spend hours packing decor, organizing personal items, and figuring out where everything goes. Marissa handled it all. My family and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Everything was secured, organized, and ready for pickup the next day. That peace of mind alone was worth every penny. I am never the person who writes reviews, but Marissa deserves every ounce of recognition she receives. Throughout the planning process, she was there for every important milestone—our final walkthrough, rehearsal, vendor coordination, timeline creation, and all the countless details that go into making a wedding run smoothly. She created an incredibly detailed and personalized timeline that became the backbone of our day. Then June 7, 2026 arrived, and she absolutely proved why she is one of the best in the business. From the moment she arrived, she was in full wedding mode. Professional, organized, confident, and completely in control. She came dressed exactly as requested, equipped with an earpiece and constant communication with her assistant, ensuring every moving piece of the day was executed flawlessly. One of my biggest concerns was my processional music. I had very specific timing requests—I wanted each bridesmaid to walk at certain moments in the song so the chorus would hit perfectly when I walked down the aisle. I genuinely thought I was asking for the impossible. Not for Marissa. She had her assistant stationed with the DJ, communicated every cue perfectly, and somehow made everything happen down to the second. It was exactly as I envisioned it. The entire evening, she was always within eyesight. Every time I looked around, she was there making sure everything was running smoothly, coordinating vendors, keeping everyone on schedule, and putting out fires that I didn’t even know existed. Because of her, I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of my wedding day. That’s what makes Marissa special. She memorizes your vision. She knows where every detail belongs. She anticipates problems before they happen. She makes an incredibly difficult job look effortless. For the past year, she has shown me nothing but kindness, grace, professionalism, dependability, and genuine care. She loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction.
