Wonderful Coordinator

It was an absolute pleasure working with Johana! In the introductory phone call, she was able to gather information about us and get an understanding about what our vision was for the wedding. A few months prior to the wedding, Johana was willing to meet us in person at the venue (a two hour drive for her) for more discussion. We had one final call closer to the day to finalize details and provide vendor information. Our wedding day went quite well (despite the rain and tornado watch!). Johana and her associate Nicole did a great job decorating. Johana was able to unload my car which was filled with decor, as well as pack everything back in once the event was over; that was so appreciated! Overall, it was a positive experience, and we would recommend Johana Events to others for weddings and other celebrations!

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for this one. Johana organized and executed my wedding reception earlier this year and I am so glad I booked her. She remembered the small details I mentioned during our very first meeting. She executed our day so seamlessly, I was very calm and relaxed during my special day. I would recommend her to everyone. An Unforgettable Evening

I attended one of Johana’s events and was blown away by how beautiful and well-organized everything was. The attention to detail, the atmosphere, and the overall flow of the event made it unforgettable. What stood out most was how she created such an elegant experience and hosted. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and puts her heart into every event she designs. I would recommend Johana Events to anyone who wants a beautiful, stress-free celebration that feels personal and thoughtfully curated.

Such a talented planner!

Johana was amazing. From the consultation call, she handled us with such professionalism and empathy. She was also really communicative. She responded to our emails in a timely manner. She also gave us her personal number for emergencies. In the end, I was so amazed with her work. Everyone was stunned.

My experience with this service was quite disappointing. We hired them expecting organization, accountability, experience, and attention to every detail—especially given the importance of a wedding day. Unfortunately, several organizational and coordination shortcomings became apparent during the event. Issues that arose included: * The props prepared for the couple's exit—such as ribbons and bubbles—were not set up on time. * The food was served cold, which I consider unacceptable for an event of this caliber. * The plates lacked the proper underliners or placemats, detracting from the table presentation. * Waitstaff failed to serve drinks to the guests during dinner. * There was a clear lack of supervision and coordination at various points during the celebration. * They didn't have the glasses ready for the toast. I do not view these merely as minor hiccups typical of any event. These were basic elements that should have been properly planned, supervised, and executed. The lack of experience and organization was evident and ultimately impacted the experience for both the couple and the guests. A wedding requires far more than just beautiful décor; it demands planning, coordination, supervision, and the ability to anticipate details. When someone offers professional services for such a significant event, that is precisely what clients expect. I am sharing this review so that future clients can make an informed decision, and so the person in charge can recognize these issues, work on improving their service, and gain the experience needed to handle events of this magnitude.
