    Honest opinion from a colleague

    I am a travel advisor, too, and while I don’t do weddings and honeymoons, I know how tough it is, which makes me to take my hat off for Michelle Mendez! I know that many mentioned her knowledge of Caribbean, maybe all her certifications, etc., so I don’t need to repeat that. To me, the human aspect of Michelle’s work is even more important: She is a delightful person to deal with, but most importantly, honest, trustworthy and patient, and patience is what you need a lot of when you have to deal when you plan weddings and honeymoons. :-) If you want the most important event of your life go smoothly and create unforgettable memories, ask Michelle for help without hesitation!

Luxe Vows & Voyages specializes in destination wedding travel and partial destination wedding planning. I help couples with the travel logistics, guest experience, venue and resort sourcing, and select planning details while working alongside the property's onsite wedding coordinator.
Partial planning gives you professional support where you need it most. Depending on your needs, I can assist with venue sourcing, wedding logistics, vendor coordination, timelines, guest experience, and communication with the resort's wedding team while you retain control of the details you want to manage yourself.
An onsite coordinator works for the property and primarily manages the wedding services taking place there. My role is different. I work on your behalf, helping connect the wedding plans with the travel experience, guest logistics, accommodations, and other details that happen before and beyond the wedding day.
